The hotel was under reparation/renewal, so we could not use the swimming pool and not so good to see it, we were informed about it after arrival. The location was pretty good. The guy that storage our luggage was not so friendly and even later I noticed that he wrote the paper with the luggage number on the back bag, giving me as a gift a souvenir signature on it, which I did not noticed after be fa away from the hotel. The rest was ok, average.

Stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Cairns—what a treat! Check-in kicked off with those legendary warm chocolate chip cookies—pure bliss after a long flight. Bedrooms were massive and super comfy, with all the space you need to unwind. Pool area's tropical vibes nailed the Aussie escape, and staff were friendly pros. 5/5, cookie alone worth the stay! 🍪🏖️

It was a lovely stay. Staff are friendly. The room is spacious but the toilet is pretty small and confined.
A welcome cookie (even heated!) at check in is delicious 😋

The walls are paper thin. You can hear people from the next room. No one answers the phone in this hotel. I called for two days all day nonstop at different times and cannot speak to someone. I was provided an email to email them from a corporate phone number and it took them two days to respond to my email.  I left all of my chargers in the hotel room. They are not in my suitcase, so there’s no other possibility, except for that they were left in the room. They claimed that they were not left in there. This means that one of their employees stole them.

The hotel is a good location walking distance to

We got checked in but was disappointed to
Find out that the hotel was under construction and that there was no pool they did provide transport to another hotel but we just went to the public one
Fresh towels were provided daily but the bath had not been cleaned or washed out
The bathroom is small can’t fit two people in at the same time
