I like Cairns as a tourist city. As a tourist city, the price of hotels is slightly higher than that of Melbourne! The room size of Mercure Hotel is right, and the bathroom is slightly smaller! Maybe because of the rainy season, the hotel's wifi connection is not good, and the wifi we brought with us also has a poor signal. But this hotel has its own swimming pool and outdoor leisure tables and chairs, which are super beautiful! The disadvantage is that when searching by name, this hotel actually has the wrong location on Uber, which led us to the Hilton Hotel. It is recommended to search by address.

we were able to'take an amazing photo of the harbor when we were living in the hotel, and I the breakfast there was delicious as well.

Very comfortable night sleep, room was clean staff were helpful.
Please note the lift is currently under construction so you may need to use the stairs, the stairs are not suitable for children as they have horizontal rails with large gaps. The restraunts buffet looked like it had a decent selection but we did not have it as it was $16each our two and three year olds.
