Nunca pudimos dormir, ni una noche. Musica terrible hasta las 3 de la madrugada. Lo pejor de nuestras vacaciones en Costa Rica. Supuestamente Cahuita es un lugar de naturaleza, playa y calipso. Nada de esto pudimos disfrutar. No lo recomiendo.

A bit disappointed but had some good things.
The pool and gardens were really good. The location is right across a small local road from the beautiful beach. The rooms are very dark; cannot read a book without a flashlight. Lots of construction going on and tools and cleaning equipment lying about. We were a bit disappointed considering what we paid.

Without Google we would have had a hard time finding it! In our room there was a shrieking noise which we assume was from the water system - it seemed to be connected to the toilet which sometimes did not flush well. We reported it at the desk when we left - really just a minor concern.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay there. Liked the restaurant having tables on the beach - shades of "Death in Paradise" on the TV!

A good example of why I only book 1 night at a place (when there are comparable options nearby). No hot water, the bed hurt my back, thin walls. Stay in Puerto Viejo instead

Nie wieder Der Strand ist zwar direkt vor der Haustür aber es keinerlei Liegen vorhanden. Zimmer Dunkel und in einem schlechten Zustand Das Restaurant ist leer was auch kein Wunder ist bei der Qualität und dem zum Teil unfreundlichen und unmotivierten Personal. Wer hier Qualität und etwas Anspruch an eine Unterkunft sucht ist hier falsch. Der Pool ist in Ordnung und das einzige Poistive. Zimmerreinigung zum Teil nicht erkennbar das jemand da war. Tassen und Getränkedosen wurden bei uns in 3 nächten gar nicht von der Terrasse entfernt. Betten sind 1,20 breit - das ist für 2 Erwachsene nicht ausreichend. Mich hat das Hotel Ehen an ein Low - Budget oder Rucksack Touristen Hotel erinnert. Gernerell ist Cauhita gefühlt ein Treffpunkt für Aussteiger und alternative etc. Wir kommen sicher nicht mehr dahin.

Perfect place, i would have given a 10 but there was no hot water. I waited the next morning to say it, i should have said it when i arrived because they send someone right away and the problem was fixed in 5 minutes. I recommend this place.
