"We have booked a double room with terrace and ended up in a bungalow away from the main building. The room was nested between a family bungalow for four (with paper thin walls) and a construction place (a new bungalow is built). No need to say how noisy this was...and definitely not what we have booked nor what was shown on all the nice looking pictures. Besides this, we have paid twice due the hotel charging the credit card well ahead of the travel dates through a pretty dubious company: We had claimed this a fraught with the credit card company because we did not know the name and as a consequence had to pay again when arriving at the accommodation. As a result we were charged double (~500€ instead of ~250€) and no refund was given. According to the credit card company the accommodation did not confirm we have paid twice!!! Also, according to *********** the accommodation is not responding to their request either. If you can stay away, this is a scam!"

"Just on the way to the airport after staying two weeks here! I cannot recommend this place highly enough . The rooms are lovely great comfy bed and spacious. Room was cleaned beautifully daily. "First and formeost, much love to Gaia, our host. She is one of those quiet professionals who gets things done and doesn't make a fuss. Yet everything falls into place with little overt effort. The facility is perfect, charming, rustic, and definitely built with the environment in mind. If you are in Cahuita for adventures, this spot will welcome you after a long day out with an inviting hammock on its generous patio. Plus our unit had a small, functional kitchen with a four burner propane stovetop and full-size (for Costa Rica) fridge. Beds were comfy, a/c cool, and the windows allowed for a breeze during the day. Shower big enough for a big dude, we enjoyed being indoors as much as out. If you pick this place, you'll likely want to come back. We sure will. Thanks to all the staff and their commitment to preserving their beautiful environment."

"The cover patio where pretty good breakfast is served has a nice view of the sea. The room was pretty spacious with two beds. The room was clean. Everything in the bathroom worked.The hotel is located close to the small beach where all the snorkling tours start."
