El restaurante del Hotel, “Mamay Aldana”, no está al nivel de un 5 estrellas, para nada. Para empezar, las mesas deberían presentar un mantel planchado (Adjunto fotos), por otra parte, no se puede ofrecer una carta donde aparecen varios platos que no están disponibles; ante un cambio de mesa, no es admisible que no se vista con mantel la mesa y se pase directamente a servir la comida , nos preguntamos si estábamos en la “Tasca Paco”. Como colofón, ni el maitre, ni el único camarero en la sala, han comprendido el concepto “calidad 5 estrellas”, aunque en realidad la responsabilidad está en la selección de personal. Gerencia: queda mucho por mejorar, cuando no por aprender. No sé en qué tómbola les han concedido la categoría de 5 estrellas, al menos al Restaurante.

Una joya de hotel! Mi pareja y yo nos alojamos 2 noches y fue una estancia perfecta. Todo el personal fue super amable, y las habitaciones maravillosas, la decoración es exquisita y el desayuno de 10. Cenamos la primera noche y nos encantó todo, especialmente el postre de higos, es sorprendente y delicioso. Si volvemos a visitar la ciudad nos alojaremos de nuevo sin duda.

Son unos informales. Reservamos para comer cuatro amigos, dos de ellos vinieron exclusivamente a Cáceres a conocer el restaurante y dos horas antes de la hora reservada me avisaron para anular la reserva porque el día antes habían tenido “un evento privado” (la inauguración, creo) que les había desbordado. Menos mal que en Cáceres hay otros restaurantes estupendos y el viaje no fue en vano.

Es un hotel que impresiona. Muy bien, mi comentario es sobre la azotea y su cafetería. Está bien. Aunque precios un tanto altos, cuando pagas te intentan desalojar, la terraza es muy bonita, pero mal sonante. Pude escuchar de boca de algún empleado la expresión. "Enseguida señorita" pero por lo demás un buen local.
