"Wuyuan, known for its picturesque mountains and scenic beauty, is renowned as China's premier idyllic landscape. From the moment I arrived, I felt a profound sense of paradise. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. Sara, in particular, even escorted us to the elevator and explained the local food and scenery along the way. The rooms were also exceptionally clean, spotlessly clean, and the management's attentive attention to detail was evident. The hotel's facilities are brand new, with intelligent controls providing a wealth of convenience. The breakfast was especially noteworthy, featuring traditional noodles and pastries, as well as local specialties like fried dumplings and steamed cakes. GGuest UserWhile riding the cable car, I heard tourists next to me exclaiming, ”What beautiful Hui-style architecture!” Looking up, you can see the undulating white walls and green tiles, with a simple and elegant background. As the cable car goes up, there is a rapeseed terrace field under your feet. It’s a pity that without the filter of sunlight and the color of the season, there are fewer bright colors. However, no matter when you come here, you can see colorful crops drying on the roofs. The color of the crops drying in the autumn is probably their unique skin color.
Some people say that entering Huangling is like entering a game world. In the square at the entrance of the village, tourists used existing props to hold a general meeting of all members of the Huangling Brigade in an orderly manner. ”Dear villagers, we are gathered together today...” ”Little comrade, please be serious. Take your ice cream and sit down!” There was laughter everywhere. Along the stone road, you can meet the inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of making straw raincoats. Seeing the straw raincoat, one can't help but think of the line ”A green bamboo hat, a green straw raincoat, no need to go home in the slanting wind and drizzle.” The straw raincoat, an ancient garment for wearing in the rain, is not as pretty and light as an oil-paper umbrella, but it carries the rich history of agricultural civilization. It contrasts with the surrounding mountains and terraces, forming a peaceful and beautiful pastoral picture. Along the way, there are free and casual tie-dye works, golden and crispy Huangling oil cakes, soft, glutinous and sweet handmade glutinous rice cakes, and NPC grandparents who feed you enthusiastically.
I like the human touch here. From Jingdezhen to Huangling, I met very nice people along the way. The driver who came like a timely rain when we were catching the high-speed train; the passers-by who enthusiastically guided us to pick up our stored luggage at the exit; the passenger who picked up our ID cards and the lovely steward. Let me end with a quote from the B&B sister: “You are very good people, so the people you meet are also very good.” Kind people make Jingdezhen and Huangling warmer, and allow everyone who comes here to find their own warmth and touch.

GGuest UserThis is a fantastic place, right in the scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. At night, you can enjoy the night view, and during the day, you can stroll through the ancient landscape, with small bridges and flowing water right before your eyes. The atmosphere is truly captivating! It's also incredibly close to surrounding attractions: Wunu Island is about 10 minutes away, Moon Bay is just five or six minutes, Jiangwan is about 15 minutes, and Huangling is just around 20 minutes, making it quick and easy to get to wherever you need to go. The overall environment is exceptional, the facilities are all new, and the stay is incredibly comfortable. Rapeseed flowers bloom outside the window. You can tell the owner is a dedicated owner; the rooms are immaculately clean and the decor is warm and elegant. The food is absolutely amazing! It uses local ingredients, cooked to perfection, and every bite is satisfying. The owner is friendly and attentive, providing a thoughtful shuttle service. From check-in to check-out, it makes you feel right at home.
This B&B made my trip even more perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wuyuan!

GGuest UserOur recent stay at this hotel was truly memorable. Due to a language barrier, Mr. Jiang from the customer service department coordinated with the staff at our previous hotel to arrange our pick-up at the railway station. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Jiang, who patiently waited for us in the pick-up area. His friendly welcome set the perfect tone for our visit.
We had originally booked a Deluxe Queen Room but to our surprise, we were upgraded to a stunning Duplex Family Suite! This unexpected upgrade made our stay even more special, providing us with ample space and beautiful views.
Although we didn’t have an app to call a taxi, the hotel’s location was incredibly convenient. It was just a short walk to a public bus station, making it easy to reach various destinations.
Additionally, the hotel is situated near a street filled with local restaurants and a supermarket. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of delicious, affordable local dishes. The vibrant atmosphere of the neighbourhood added to our overall experience.

GGuest UserI opted for one of their newly opened rooms for this stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring I slept soundly right until dawn. What I particularly loved was the Huipai architectural style, with its classic white walls, dark tiled roofs, and charmingly arranged courtyards. The subtle aroma of tea permeated the air, instantly putting me at ease.

MM526379****The hotel booking this time exceeded my expectations. I stayed in Huangling B&B on the first day. I was cold and hungry at night. There were villages all around. I visited Huangling the next morning. At that time, I thought I would find a hot spring hotel to rest. I didn’t expect such a favorable price to include hot springs ♨️. I ran back and forth in several pools by myself at night. I felt like a rich man. The hotel was newly renovated in 25 years. The environment is also very good. I can hear birds singing early in the morning. It is the highlight of this trip to Wuyuan.

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Huan Xiu Homestay and had a wonderful experience. The inn’s serene setting and blend of traditional and modern decor made for a peaceful retreat. My room was clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable.
The amenities were excellent, offering both relaxation and cultural experiences. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent hospitality and helpful local tips. The breakfast experience was superb, with delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Huan Xiu Inn and highly recommend it.

The resort grows on you. I say resort as it's not a conventional hotel as such. Its designed and styled as a mosaic of accommodation types spread out amongst the large grounds, or Scenic Area, as its markted. This was confusing and after a long journey to reach the 'hotel', we had to first check in at a enormous building which is also the public entrance for day visitors to the resorts attractions. Our taxi from the station (which declined to use the meter, ¥20, dropped us on the main road and not at the entrance. Not great with our excessive luggage.
We were then transported on extended golf buggy style vehicles to what was the opposite end of the resort.
The accommodation was very comfortable and well designed. The only fault is the long walks to the facilities such as breakfast (in another hotels restaurant). That said, you can call for a buggy pick up.
On check in we were informed the large water park was not open until later in the season. Too cold apparently, despite being in the high 20c's.
A lit of the resort appears to be in state of construction with empty shells of buildings scattered about.
By the end of the 4 nights, we warmed up, literally, to the style of resort, the colourful scenery and facilities, those which were open.
It's a bit far put of the centre of Wuyuan, though there is nothing too exciting to see in the city centre.
