We had a lovely stay at this hotel. So close to everything in the city of Pest! The only thing I could possibly complain about was the bedding and the pillows. 2 single duvets for a double bed and the pillows ruined my neck for the day. But lovely modern and artistic room and a great bathroom!

A fantastically clean and very well located hotel. Right in the centre of town and has just enough to provide a comfortable stay. However, the 8:30am knocks from housekeeping are very annoying and a fridge is something management should consider - as there is room for one. Breakfast pastries and coffee were great, but hot items lacking and need improvement.

The location of D8 Hotel, Budapest is topnotch . It is under 5 minutes walk from the shopping areas - Fashion Street and also under 5 minutes from the Danube, it is quite central. It is situated right next to Maddame Tassauds, which made it easy to find late at night as Maddame Tassuads is well marked and noticeable and I knew to look out for D8 beside it. I can't find any flaws with the hotel, it is what you can expect from good 3* hotel, which it is. The hotel and rooms are modern which is great and once again breakfast is also what you can expect at a good 3* hotel, nothing less than that. I didn't have any issues waiting for the lift and the reception staff were good and fluent in English. Though I did not ask, but I'm sure an iron could have been provided if enquired. Be prepared for slightly small room size, however it is still manageable and the pros outweigh the cons. Toilet was well equipped and I'd rate 8/10 for cleanliness. I asked for a toothpaste the first night, the receptionist did take time to find it however, could not. The next day I tried asking again from another receptionist and she was able to get me one right away.

Pros - location is perfect for our short trip. We dont have to worry about transportation as the main attractions are within walking distance. It was close to the xmas market too! - nice interior design for a basic hotel - staff were mostly attentive except for the girl on the during our check our day. She was gloomy but still helpful. - room comes with breakfast. It was a basic bfast buffet spread but they’re decent. Cons - basic amenities. No proper sets of shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Just one for all but this is quite common for hotels in europe.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff, The bartenders and the location. The location was chefs kiss.

Excellent location, close to the river on the Pest side and within walking distance of shopping districts! The room was spotless with modern interiors. The friendly staff made the stay even more enjoyable, making it an ideal choice for a hotel.

Walkable to main attractions like Bode Castle/ shopping / restaurants are close by.
