The Wellington is a great local pub to my neighbours and I who visit every Thursday for quiz and often in between too! Emma, G, and the rest of the bar staff do a great job of looking after us, and are formidable in the face of adversity! Thanks guys!! x

This establishment was the 3rd Installment in our aim to visit every pub on Gloucester Rd. Honestly it could have been better. Their back door was closed (for no discernible reason) so to get to the garden you had to walk around the entire building, same as ordering food and drinks and going to the toilet. This was all during the heatwave too. Drinks were good with notable ales although this is to be expected as from a St Austell chain. Wait time on food was considerable and taking around 45mins just for a burger. Overall it was a nice pub and I had a positive experience but I’m not in any rush to visit again…

Large comfortable room that was well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay, plus the pub is downstairs with great food and drinks! Highly recommended!

Great place to stay
A great pub with clean, functional
Rooms which included aircon (essential right now!) Staff were all wonderful and made the check in / check out all easy. Definitely consider staying here at the top of Gloucester Road.

We stayed here for 2 nights, staff were accommodating and very friendly. Si made our stay the best we could’ve asked for. One of the best GM’s in brewery even though he hasn’t been there long! I would recommend, food tasted amazing aswell. Very easy to access the city from The Wellington!

Our second stay at The Wellington. A lovely gastro pub with B&B. Pub is lovely with great food.
Room was large and light and airy with very comfortable bed and lovely furnishings. Bathroom is beautiful with a great shower, lovely towels and Elemis toiletries, even conditioner and body lotion.
Tea and coffee facilities and water provided.
Lovely choice for breakfast and cooked beautifully (eggs royale for me, full english for him)
Staff lovely and friendly. Helped us out with taxi and very informative.
