HHenry from Toronto, CanadaThis is a brand new hotel in a developing city. Everything in the hotel was modern. My room was quite large and the TV was gigantic. The free laundry facilities were the nicest I've seen during my 7 week trip in China. I tried the breakfast one morning, and it was decent.
The hotel seemed quite empty, likely because not many people and businesses have moved into the area yet. I did find a few restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. If I'm in the area again, I would stay at this hotel again.

The boss is hospitable, the room is spacious and bright, the quality of the brand new bedding is particularly good, the first floor can order food, very convenient, accommodation and eating are very affordable. Libailixia Scenic Area is only a few minutes walk away, and there is a commercial street and a square at the door.

GGuest UserIt's perfect for families with elderly members and children; it feels like home. The owners are very welcoming, and the wife is incredibly gentle and has an artistic flair. The courtyard is beautifully maintained, exuding a charming, artistic atmosphere. In the evenings, spring water boils around a bonfire, and everyone gathers around, sipping tea brewed by the owners and chatting contentedly. The children play hide-and-seek, swing on the swings, and watch the turtles and koi swimming in the pond. The kids especially love the incredibly good-natured Labrador Retriever; you can pet it freely without it getting angry. The rooms are also very clean, and they thoughtfully provide disposable toilet seat covers. We plan to go back in the fall.

NNV8My stay at Ruimeihua was pleasant and hassle free. Rooms were spacious, clean and had a wide range of amenities. Be it front desk, kitchen, cleaning and all other staff were always attentive and helpful. Breakfast had multiple options to choose from. Recommended.

GGuest UserThis stay truly exceeded all expectations. As foreigners visiting Citadines Baoding for the first time, the overall experience couldn’t have been better — it was absolutely top-notch 👍.
From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive.
The hotel also provides a complimentary fruit platter, which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. The room is well equipped with a capsule coffee machine, and there is even a washing machine inside the room, making the stay especially convenient for families and longer visits.
Another major highlight is the room layout. In addition to the bedroom, there is a separate small living area. This design is a big plus — my husband can watch TV or work in the living space without disturbing my rest, which greatly enhances comfort and privacy.
Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for business or families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Citadines to anyone visiting Baoding.

Uuljjatxa121I stayed for two nights during the Qingming Festival, and the service was excellent. After booking, a butler contacted me to register my car plate number and other details. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to a mall with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. It's also just a few kilometers' drive from Xiong'an Xinma Forest Park. Let's talk about the facilities first: I went with my child, and there's a playground in B1. They even added an extra 'naughty castle' during the holiday, which my child absolutely loved. The children's play area is quite small, really only suitable for one to two-year-olds to play in briefly. The two building block tables had a limited number of toys, so I'd suggest adding more. There are also some electronic entertainment facilities that require tokens to play. There are two heated children's pools, but they are a bit small. I wouldn't recommend going if it's crowded, as it would be like 'dumplings in a pot.'
Next, breakfast: if you go around 9 AM, you'll have to queue for about 15 minutes, but they opened two restaurants, so the efficiency was still decent. I only had breakfast at the Chinese restaurant. The variety wasn't extensive, and the taste was average, but it was sufficient.
Finally, the rooms: we stayed on the 8th floor and booked two rooms. One of them still had a bit of a new renovation smell. After I mentioned it to the butler, they promptly brought an air purifier and even a fruit plate as an apology. Anyway, the service was quite reassuring. I'll definitely stay here again when the weather gets warmer.

We bought a swimsuit at the entrance of the hot spring, and a swimming cap at the supermarket next to the pool. It was very affordable. The swimming cap was even cheaper than Beijing and Tokyo. The hot spring water on the holiday side was very clean and the pool water was very clean. In the evening, I called the delivery service, beef noodles 18 yuan, preserved egg lean meat porridge 10 yuan, chips 8 yuan, taste good, cost-effective. The next day's wisdom vegetable garden and picking were surprises. The strawberries were particularly delicious and picked a lot. Two days and one night were full and happy. To say that the lack of the toilet and the toilet are partitioned doors, but the glass is transparent, there is no privacy, especially the toilet door is meaningless, it is recommended to make it impervious, so that someone can use the toilet or shower when others can come in to wash their hands. The curtains have to be pulled to be impermeable, it is best to post a reminder. In short, the flaws are not concealed, it is worth coming again. In addition, the pool met a poor quality person, adults took several children to fight in the diving, affecting the people swimming next to them. A staff member said them and was complained. Objectively speaking, this staff member may be euphemistic, but this behavior must be managed, otherwise the guests are happy, and the guests swimming next to them will be unhappy. If the child wants to fight, he can go to the children's play area and don't affect others. In short, support the hotel to standardize the swimming pool fighting behavior, to protect the interests of most tourists.

BBig FheezohI'm a business tourist from the USA, stayed at this hotel almost 2 weeks and they all made me feel at home. This hotel excels in customer service...and I don't say that lightly. I've stayed in almost 12 different hotels in my extensive travels across China and in general, hotel personnel attitudes tend to be cold, formal and impersonal. But staff at this hotel....from front desk, to restaurant and cleaning staff are very personable, warm and friendly. The ladies at the front desk are super sweet, kind, friendly and helpful. The lady that checked me in was very nice. Another front desk lady (she told me not to mention her name) went out of her way to spend hours on the phone and online to help me resolve some serious online order logistics issues because I don't speak Chinese. If I was looking for a Chinese wife, I woulda sly slid a wedding ring on her finger before she knows what hit her 😜😂
I sure 'nuff enjoyed my stay....and heck yeah I'll be back!!!

What needs to be complained is still the breakfast. Although it is included, there is nothing left when I went there at 8 o'clock. There are only a few pickles and two cold dishes, which are also the bottom, and there is no staple food. After everyone's strong reaction, some quick-frozen bean buns came up, which were all cold and not heated through, and they had to be snatched. And there were no basic eggs, at least one per person, and the waiter said we didn't have eggs.
The restaurant waiter said that there were too many people and the food couldn't be cooked, but how many people stayed every day and the front desk didn't communicate, don't they know how many people eat?
Free bathing is not bad!
