Wonderful peaceful vacation. The entire staff was extremely awesome, professional and kind. Top notch staff that humbled my heart. I wish others could learn from this awesome staff. Staff will really be welcoming and helpful, the whole airport and activies transfer service was seamless and smooth. The room was lovely but you can tell they see heavy use as bits of feature walls were chipped, balcony light didnt work and there were some existing stains on furniture (this worried us because we were advised of fines for this and did not want to face blame unjustly.) This being said, daily house keeping was outstanding and the cleaners were great. They were responsive to requests and the 'goodnight' check ups were a great touch. location is perfect for everything and there were lovely relaxed vibes all around.

The hotel, although new, does not differ in any luxury or solidity. As it seemed to us, it was not worth overpaying for it, you could have gone straight to one of the Hennan. Breakfasts do not reach 5 *, little choice and I can not say that there was something outstanding and tasty, everything is standard: scrambled eggs, fruits, pancakes, plus not much space for seating guests, disappointed with not very clean dishes. No complaints about the staff, everyone is very polite and courteous. The rooms are spacious, fresh furniture and renovation. Also a big plus - there is an immediate exit to the beach through the hotel, but there are 15 sun loungers for guests at most. They give out mats so that you can sit under a palm tree. In general, after moving to Hennan, we realized for ourselves that we did not get any memorable impressions from Mandarin, did not eat anything special, did not see anything, and overpaid decently.

Pros:
*The hotel is new, comfortable rooms with a balcony
*When the power was turned off for a day, everything worked without failures on the generator.
*Guests at the hotel get a 15% discount on the evening buffet.
Cons:
*There are not enough beach towels, there are none at 10 am or 6 pm.
*There are not enough sun loungers either by the pool or on the beach.
*There is always some kind of crush when checking in and out, the staff cannot cope. Upon arrival, they did not offer a welcome drink or leave your things for storage while we were waiting for check-in.
*I ordered a coconut colada cocktail at the bar, they brought me pure alcohol in a glass, although on the menu this cocktail is served in a coconut. They changed it to normal at my request.
The location is in the center of all the action, there is constant noise and hubbub, on the beach, traders are constantly pestering. For those who like action.
Breakfasts are simple.
I've been to Boracay 4 times, stayed in many hotels, would only return to Mandarin for a couple of days and with good discounts. For the price of 20+ thousand there are more interesting options.

This hotel is suitable for those looking for a basic family vacation in the city center — nothing more.
It is definitely not a five-star hotel. The rooms are very basic, and the pool they boast about is mostly inaccessible.
As for the gym – it consisted of about ten dumbbells and a single treadmill.
The buffet seemed more catered to a local crowd, with mostly meat, seafood, and rice dishes, and very little for international guests.
The service was extremely disappointing — a group of drunk tourists next to our room kept us awake all night, and the hotel staff offered no help, solution, or compensation.
The manager seemed inexperienced and unable to properly run a hotel chain.
In my opinion, the only reason they get a relatively high rating is because of their low prices — but frankly, it’s not worth more than that.
