Aparthotel Oporto Anselmo

Just far enough from the busy crowded spots to feel peaceful, yet close enough to walk and or catch many different forms of transport. We booked planning to use the Sauna and Spa after a busy days sight seeing. Unfortunately they had time Limits that didnt allow such comfort, but that just made us do more in gorgeous Porto itself. The garden are well kept, a lovely, and not so small, green space to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Ana checked us in, she was wonderfully fun and full of so much helpful Information!! She gave us a fantastic, if not a little too ambitious itinerary for our short visit. And not one piece of advice Was wrong! Thankyou!! The apartments are nice, they have a warm grounding vibe. Everything Was comfortable except our bed, but that is always relative to who's sleeping in it. Well equipped for short stays, extra kitchen Equipment was available on request. But theres too many delicious options practically on your doorstep. We barely Even had coffee in our room. I would gladly return and stay at Apartments Oporto Anselmo again. And recommend

Really nice place, modern, spacious, fully equipped for everything you may need in terms of appliances, especially if you loke to also cook. The decorations inside the appartment were also very stylish, you feel like in one of those luxury homes. The place is in a great location at just 10 minutes walking from the central market. It was very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It made our stay wonderful.

In Porto to run the marathon, we and friends booked Anselmo based on facilities, price and location - we were not disappointed. The one-bedroom flats (pool-side of building) were of an excellent size, light, bright and warm. Facilities - hob, kettle, sandwichmaker, small microwave, fridge/freezer - were exactly as we had expected. The bathroom was well-equipped, had an excellent walk-in shower (no bath tub) and was as warm as you wanted. A short walk (10 minutes, downhill) to the metro station which is next door to a supermarket for provisions. The area isn't tourist-y at all, but it's only another 10 minutes walk to one of the main pedestrianised areas of Porto, the huge market, and on to the city centre. Yes, it's a walk back uphill from virtually every destination. Garden was great; pool was cold (November!) but jacuzzi beautifully warm. Didn't try the sauna. But finally, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful in all respects. Loved it and would stay here again, without question.

Friendly staff and lovely apartment Pool cool in October but jacuzzi was good. Good location to walk into the city. Cleaning very regular and change of towels as well though I thought the frequency was unnecessary. I would recommend it to others
