As we stated in our other reviews in other sites, we Stayed in other JW Marriott locations this year (Quito, Nairobi, and Nashville) but we are very disappointed with our stay here that we ACTUALLY MOVED to W Bogota while we are still in the country. Service was appalling and impersonal, which was NOT WE EXPECTED from a JW Marriott property. We are unapologetic for this review, and though this may be an isolated case, but we cannot stand this quality that we checked out and moved to a different hotel.

Durante mi reciente visita al JW Marriott en Bogotá, tuve el placer de ser recibido cálidamente por el gerente del restaurante, Ignacio Benítez Chicote. Desde el momento en que ingresé, su hospitalidad destacó por ser genuina, atenta y profundamente apasionada por ofrecer una experiencia excepcional al huésped. Ignacio me presentó un desayuno local cuidadosamente seleccionado, rico tanto en sabor como en autenticidad cultural. Uno de los puntos destacados fue una sopa colombiana especial elaborada con 23 ingredientes locales. Además, la variedad de canapés servidos en el desayuno aportó un toque creativo y encantador que elevó toda la experiencia. Lo que realmente distingue a Ignacio es su enfoque dinámico y único en la hospitalidad. Va más allá del servicio estándar al ofrecer una introducción significativa a la cocina y cultura colombianas. La réception m’a remis la clé d’une chambre déjà attribuée. Seconde chambre vue sur les travaux avec le bruit que ça engendre. La femme qui accueille au restaurant du petit déjeuner fait passer les locaux et non par ordre d’arrivée. Le positif ? La propreté des chambres. Taie d’oreiller trouée.

The junior suite was incredibly comfortable, with a high, luxurious bed that we couldn't get enough of. Housekeeping made sure our room was always stocked with everything we needed. The spa facilities are equally impressive, with a pristine jacuzzi and lap pool. The lounge, expertly managed by Victor, "the mixologist," offered an exceptional experience. Not only is he a talented bartender, but he's also intelligent and engaging. Concierge Camilo is an invaluable resource, brimming with knowledge about the city and its surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the JW Marriott for its prime location, safety, exceptional service, cleanliness, and upscale atmosphere.

After an exhausting 34 hours journey, I arrived at JW Marriott Bogota for a 5-night stay. Despite my late midnight arrival, the front desk team, especially Julian Bernal,ensured a smooth and efficient check -in, which was greatly appreciated. The following day, Julian Bernal went above and beyond by arranging transportation for my tours and providing valuable advice on safety during my stay in Bogota. Through my visit, both Julian and Angela Romero were incredibly helpful and friendly, consistently ensuring I had everything I needed. The entire staff at JW Marriott Bogota showcased an outstanding service attitude. They truly are the gems of the hotel, making my stay comfortable and memorable. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!
