The hostel was spotlessly clean. It was very easy to meet new people and make friends. They offer breakfast and dinner, which are absolutely delicious, although sometimes they tend to forget your order. However, these minor inconveniences did not overshadow my experience. Overall, I had an amazing stay, which I would recommend without hesitation. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, adding a special charm to my days there.

Top notch! I'm a 71-yr-old female solo traveler, and this place is perfectly located, extremely clean, serves very good breakfast 'til noon, good dinner 'til 9pm, and staff is attentive and helpful. I totally enjoyed the walking tour, the graffiti tour and the food tour; I learned a lot! The sleeping area is well separated from the lobby and socializing areas, and is REALLY quiet. During my four-day stay, I never had to wait for a toilet or a sink or a shower, in the area where those amenities were shared. Guests were all friendly and considerate; no "cranky crocs" or cranky people to be found! Note to guests with mobility issues: you should ask for a private room to fit your needs, as there are some which are on the first floor and not around the uneven courtyard floor. Thanks to all for making my stay so comfortable, convenient, and economical!

The location is perfect for people who want to be close to restaurants, nightlife and some of the city's biggest tourist attractions (Museo de Oro in particular). On the downside, the mattress was hard and My room (a prívate one with a prívate bath) was in an área next to the comunal áreas so there was some noise but nothing terrible and so I didn't request a change.

A lot of hostels in Bogota are a little worn around the edges. This place is a dream. If you are on a budget or not, deftinitely consider staying here. The staff are friendly and helpful, the australian owner is a perfectionist and its in a great location to see the sights. Its brand new, when we were there they were about to open a bar at the front but don't worry, the walls between the music and the bedrooms are super thick and you won't hear a thing.

Feel safe booking your stay at the Croc. Great location in Bogota that you can walk to for all of your dining and partying needs. The hostal is super clean with nice sized private rooms. The common area has a decent breakfast for you to choose from as well group dinners every night which are very well priced and very good. On Fridays they serve some fancy drinks with dinner for cheap. The owner is extremely helpful in all ways and the desk staff are also very good. Wifi works well and there are computers you can rent outside the TV room. Overall, a great hostal to stay at for a great price. Hope that helps and feel free to message us if you have any questions.
