"An overwhelmed and unfriendly young man took my booking and then gave me the room key. He only explained how to get to the room, but not how the key worked. I figured that out myself after numerous attempts. The first light switches in the bathroom weren't working, and I found several light sources at the desk. The room looks in need of renovation and smelled... well, strange! I thought the World Cup was about to start, but I hadn't considered the TV programming. There was no ARD or ZDF, and certainly no pay-TV channels! That evening it was 36°C outside, and the room was probably 28°C despite the air conditioning. According to many reviews, it hasn't worked for several years. I mentioned these issues at reception, but the overwhelmed receptionist didn't care. In this heat, there's nothing to cool the room—no air conditioning and no refrigerator. The hotel's disinterest in these long-standing problems is truly ignorant and not in the guest's interest. This is not a service designed to retain long-term customers!"

"The rooms are shown as you are on the internet. The rooms are well equipped and there is a balcony for each room. Furthermore, there is a small kitchenette. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. When you come by car you should book a parking place because parking before the door is very difficult. When you come in the room there is already a small bottle of washing agent and also tabs for the washing machine. Cockpits and cans are also available. A small cooking field and a microwave are also available in the kitchenette."

Martina, in particular, speaks English and is so helpful if you have questions about what to see and how to get there. The breakfast across the street was very good. Each day, we were greeted with a smile and a cheery atmosphere. They were more than happy to cook us some eggs and bacon if we wanted. Hotel is walking distance from shopping and transportation. Overall, excellent place to stay."
