"Does not adhere to brand standards. Refuses to grant late checkout though it is guaranteed per the Marriott Bonvoy T&C. When I highlighted that I am a Titanium member, they doubled and subsequently tripled down flat out refusing to give any late check out whatsoever. Also, on the app and website they have posted that the checkout time is 11 AM, however, the back of the room door states that check out is at noon. Avoid unless you’re a glutton for punishment."

"Omg. The first floor room was like somebody’s basement— the flooring (not carpet) was a modern linoleum. Not a picture or decoration anywhere. Could have been a jail cell. TV at the ceiling. Bathroom looked partially updated. Nice mirror with light. The room was right next to the front check-in and therefore door. It was a tolerable noise level until 11:30 when, apparently, a number of loud conversationalists in the lobby woke us."

"We stayed in the Julia Vrooman suite, a tradition dating back to our honeymoon stay. Over the last 26 years, we have stayed a night or two and always in this room or the Carriage house. It’s a treat to be surrounded with so much history and architectural elements, along with the meticulously manicured gardens. The bed is comfortable, along with the sitting room pieces where we sat and enjoyed the treehouse like view. Our breakfast was so tasteful with bacon quiche, dark cherry French toast, sausage and a very soft Lucious peach topped with whip cream and some caramel on the plate. Coffee was easy to linger over as Brian played the grand piano for us once he heard that it was our anniversary. All the staff created an inclusive restful stay. We will return again and again."

"Hotel room was nice and clean front desk on Friday night were great. However Saturday morning breakfast was absolutely terrible. We came down at 9am and there was nothing. I mean NOTHING. oh wait, yellow oranges and 2 boxes of crap cereal and two hard bagels. The potatoes were not cooked and cold yet in the warmer. The eggs were runny and there was no meat. No syrup, no orange juice and the place was a mess. When I went to the front desk she stared at me and then walked to the back and pointed to a man in a black sweat suit. He said whats the problem. I said can we get some fruit or something. He brought out green bananas. My husband asked for a manager you brought out some syrup but she didn't speak at all. I then asked for some cereal. She was not verbal but brought out a box and proceeded to put cereal out. The front desk throughout the day had earbud in, didn't look anyone in the eye and actually had their back to us as we walked out. I emailed customer service about this and they emailed me back and gave me points on my account. Who cares. For $400 a night with breakfast included there should be breakfast! Not to mention I was there for the State Special Olympics in Bloomington and my daughter was an athlete and she had no breakfast! I expect way more from a Marriott hotel."

"I had to do business again near the hotel. This hotel is ideal for me since there is breakfast from 6 a.m. and the travel time to the customer is quite short. The rooms are large and comfortable furnished, so a long stay over several weeks is also pleasant. My special thanks is to Glenn because he is very careful and always helpful. Furthermore, Glenn also speaks German."
