"I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. Staff are friendly and responsive by email. I got an airport pickup for $30. The room and bathroom were very spacious and even came with a tub! The breakfast is an extensive buffet—not to my taste but I think the locals like it. As for clean food, you can get fresh fruit, coffee with milk, nuts, cucumber and boiled egg. There’s a nice lobby where you can hang out and charge your phone. There is a restaurant inside the hotel but I didn’t eat there. There is an ATM right outside the hotel and inside the mall. I had a room that faced the back side with a lovely view of trees and some urban maize fields. Room had AC and lots of light too."

"This our second stay with university faculty and students. The first group was 22 people and the second. The staff are friendly, quite accommodating and most importantly, flexible. Rooms are clean, comfortable and include en-suite bathrooms. Many have great views, and some have small balconies. They have a good basic breakfast, and lunch and dinner are available. Our team this visit was conducting fieldwork, and the staff prepared excellent box lunches each day. Based on schedules, we were able to let them know the time we preferred for breakfast and dinner. For the limited downtime we had at the guesthouse, relaxing by the pool or in the small indoor lounge area was pleasurable. Chinyonga Guesthouse is a great value for dollars invested. Great place for small groups to find a calm oasis in a busy city."
