I always feel comfortable and well cared for at Chinyonga House. I will return there each time I visit Malawi. The staff is very nice and can help you arrange transportation. The dining area can accommodate business partners or friends if you would like to invite someone to diner. It is very close to the Museum of Malawi and regional shopping districts. The guest house is also near a bus stop if you would like to visit the Malawi University of Science and Technology.

Hotel is beautiful. However, one of the rooms I stayed in did not have a mosquito net on the bed and some of the windows did not have screens.

This was our 4th visit with a fairly large group of 22 faculty and University students. Accommodations continue to improve. The new buildings are fantastic with balconies facing west and great views. We arranged for dinners and box lunches which permitted great efficiency as our teams visited hospitals, clinics and university facilities at Malawi University for Science and Technology. The chef created a wide variety of affordable good food. We could not be happier with the manager, Chikondi, and her most gracious staff. We look forward to our 5th visit later this year!

An excellent guest house. So so location, but friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable and reasonable food. However my stay was somewhat spoilt by having money stolen.from my room The owner made enquiries, but to no avail. If you do decide to stay, I would advise not to leave any valuables in your room

Bad experience! When settling the bill, prices booked for accommodation were not the prices charged! Prices shown on restaurant menu did not correspond to prices charged either! Instead of making an apology and correcting this we were bluntly told that the prices charged were the "new prices". In other words, you cannot trust that what you book, is what you get. Otherwise, a low-key place that offers a reasonable standard if you are looking for a quiet place close to the hustle and bustle of Limbe and Blantyre.

I stayed at Chinyonga Guest House with my husband as we attended a friend's wedding in Blantyre. We had a pleasant stay and the staff are very polite and responsive. Spent sometime at the pool and our dinner was served by the pool as well. Very well cooked food and nice basic breakfast. The room was clean as well. Only request would be that they should have mosquito repellent readily available in the rooms. Definitely recommend!
