We recently spent a week with our extended family and it was fantastic Each family had separate accommodation but we were able to utilise the facilities at the end of the day. We especially loved the indoor communal fire. Jess was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough We will be back

Beautiful location!!! The site is so well maintained with excellent amenities and fun activities for kids (and adults!). Our host, Jess, sent me a list of around 20 local attractions/activities ahead of our stay which genuinely made the few days even better. I love the touch of having books, games and DVDs free to take as you please, and when we checked in we found some complimentary marshmallows for roasting at the communal fire pit (which is undercover!) - this was a fantastic stay, I can’t fault it and couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Thank you Jess!

I have been going here with family and friends every year for over 7 years. I always look forward to returning to the quaint, cozy cottages and the beautiful grounds of the property. Cottages are very well equipped, staff are helpful, 2 minute drive into Blackheath and beautiful Evans Lookout at the end of the street, bushwalks all around. No complaints here!

From the moment I made the booking, Jess made us feel very welcome. 10 of us arrived at "The Cottage" with the fire already glowing and a bag of marshmallows and birthday gift as an unexpected but delightful surprise. With 8 adults and 2 kids, we had plenty of space to spread out. Being a big family of cooking enthusiasts, we took advantage of the well stocked kitchen and MASSIVE dinning table. With the cold dreary weather we were all kept thoroughly entertained with bush walks, LOTS of swims in the indoor pool and quite a few competitive games of table tennis. If the conditions were better, we would have sampled all the activities Possum Hideaway had to offer. It was so nice to be away from the touristy chaos of Echo Point and enjoy the peaceful nature the Blue Moumtains has to offer.

Extremely helpful and positive staff both in the booking process and onsite. The venue is well maintained and very peaceful surrounded by areas of bushland to explore. The accommodation is lovely with a small kitchen to self-cater. The gas heaters ensure warmth in the chilly winter months and the beds are very comfortable. The separate barbecue facilities are great for outdoor cooking, and the indoor campfire is a wonderful experience for a night-time treat!

This is our little home away from home (family haven) where we have to come to celebrate over the years special occasions but most importantly a place to enjoy the most important family time away. We love it here, we will keep coming back!
