Highly recommend for those who want to relax. Location is secluded, away from city centre. Nonetheless complimentary activities were provided such as kayaking, stand up paddling. Kind and warm hospitality from all the staff. They were extremely helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Room and amenities were spotless (except for a few lizards outside our room, which we didn’t mind). The resort offers breathtaking views and bicycles were provided for you to explore the resort. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.

This resort stands out as one of the best I've experienced in recent memory! It boasts a beautiful environment and rooms that are both aesthetically pleasing and well-appointed. The staff consistently provided helpful and polite service. I particularly appreciated the complimentary bicycles for convenient travel within the resort. The food quality was also impressive. What solidified my positive experience was their outstanding service recovery: upon discovering a minor termite issue in my first room, they promptly upgraded me to a Seaview suite. This impeccable service ensures I'll be back for another retreat!

A nice quiet resort that is a very good place to relax and bond with my family. Love that they have complimentary activities like paddle board and Kayaking.The game room that my family spent quite a bit of time there due to the weather. The super funny and friendly staff at the boat house.I was very surprised that the resort was so big but the bikes and buggy services that were provided really are helpful in travelling around the place. The food at the restaurants was good and fresh. The staff was friendly and at the end of the day having the manager and staff waving goodbye as we left gave a lasting impression. Appreciate the hospitality and good services:)

The Residence Bintan is a great place to relax and a nice getaway from Singapore. It's a bit far, but the transportation was smooth, with free cookies and water on the bus. The rooms were big, and the bikes provided were fun—my husband and daughter enjoyed riding around. There were also some fun activities for kids. The resort has a WhatsApp group that shares the weather and daily schedule, including free activities for both adults and children.

Room is really big and I love that pillow type can be chosen . The pillows are longer than usual which I like . Toilets are clean and big . Overall can see it's a little old but still manage to maintain it well . Service was really good they provide free dessert to the room every night and 1 bottle free essential oils for soaking in the tub. Staff are friendly and helpful .

Stayed at The Residence over 3 day.l Staff attitude was good all round - everyone took ownership of their respective roles from the concierge through to Front Desk. Despite the distance from the ferry terminal if you come by BBT, The Residence is self-sufficient w activities for adults and kids. It's tranquil and a blissful sanctuary for a restful break. You could also arrange excursions through the hotel. Rainy season is from Oct to April. Check out activities thru WhatsApp comms. Take the provided bicycle or just walk through the farm and ask the staff there about feeding chickens, rabbits and Tilapia. Or understand the role of the farm in relation to the restaurants. Nothing is perfect but you'll definitely be won over by the earnestness of the staff.

Our third time back! It’s a pretty long ride (about an hour) van/bus ride from the jetty to get here but it ticks all our boxes for a beach holiday.

The hotel is located approximately 90 minutes away from the ferry terminal, which may seem like a long journey. However, they offer a complimentary shuttle service, making the trip much more convenient and stress-free. Once we arrived, the experience more than made up for the distance. The facilities are top-notch, and the service is impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and attentive. Kudos to the entire team for delivering a truly five-star stay.

It was a superb stay :) love the whole place and how chill it is. It had many activities to keep us occupied eg gym, yoga, games room, water activities like kayaking and stand up paddling, pool. The food was really yummy as well. Also love it that they gave us bicycles to cycle around the whole area. Room was clean and service staff was lovely and always full of smiles :)

Relaxing schoold holiday trip with my family. We stayed in the resort as the location is quite outskirt and far to go anywhere. Nice villa with our own private pool and overlooking the private beach. They also have 2 bike for own use to roaming around, they also have kids club and earth basket tour where they have their own mini zoo as i find it very entertaining for the kids to explore. The room was good and clean however the TV inside the room-network is so dissapointing. Breakfast was good but limited choices and still acceptable. Food in the Rica Rica also ia good. They even provide us a birthday cake for my child birthday and surprise us with the deco. Tq to Mr Rajiv the RM, and to all of the staff who took care of our family during our stay.

The hotel is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the ferry. Part of the road is unpaved, which can make the journey a bit difficult. The room is clean, and the breakfast/brunch is delicious. However, make sure to check your receipt carefully when paying at the restaurant or café — tip and tax are already included, but they may still ask you to write in an additional tip.
