"1. It is only a 5-minute walk from the basel central station, which is very convenient. Go out along the south exit of the railway station, walk through two intersections and you will be in a residential area.
2. The hotel and the next homestay belong to the same family, so you need to check in at the front desk on the first floor of the homestay
3. The conditions are similar to those of domestic four-star hotels, and the price/performance ratio is super high
4. The front desk has a good attitude and is always there.
5. Breakfast can be added and luggage can be stored. . . . There are two parking spaces at the door, because many of them come by car
6. The curtain is automatic and has a remote control

"I’m travelling with family of 8ppls and staying in this hotel for 2nights. Out of 4rooms, all 3 rooms with issue like smelly room (like dead body inside the room), only one lightbulb is working, door knob got issue, stuffy room.. too many issue that we don’t know where shud we start to complaint. Old hotel and need a lot improvement. Check in staff is friendly. Breakfast consider average. No photo because nothing to shot out with."

"Breakfast is available if requested, but it is very easy to use the fully equipped kitchen which is mostly used quite well by the guests.
Access by lift is available.
The bunks are quite wide and comfortable and there is lockable storage space.
The site is very near to public transport which is
convenient.
In summer there are eateries and drinking places right next door. There are food shops nearby.
Toilets and showers are all good and kept clean."

"Across the street from Basel Train Station, the Baroque architecture is very pleasing to the eye. The bedding is comfortable and hygienic, and the breakfast is very good. The production, taste and variety are excellent, better than the average European hotel. Freshly squeezed juice and salmon are provided. It is the most pleasant breakfast among all the hotels in Europe. Very good!"

"The location of the hotel is good, next to the European train station SBB, it is very convenient to travel by taxi and public transportation. The biggest problem is that there is no air-conditioning. It is only the beginning of June, and the outdoor temperature is as high as 28 degrees at noon. There is no air-conditioning indoors, and the sunlight is direct (European latitude is high, and the sun's slope is not large in summer), and the indoor temperature is as high as 34-36 degrees! I couldn't sleep at all. I asked the front desk and said that the temperature is relatively low at night and it will cool down. The room is not ventilated and it won't cool down at all! Only a small electric fan is provided, and I have no sleep all night! When booking a hotel in Europe, you must ask whether there is air conditioning. 80% of hotels in Europe do not have air conditioning, which is unbearable in summer! This is still a European four-star hotel!"

"The best location you can find near the Basel train station. This hotel shares the same reception lobby as the Metropolitan Hotel, so you'd need to walk a long way from reception to the back of the kitchen to the lift that goes up to your room. The room is tiny with our two big luggages and we couldn't open them fully."
