Best Berne Hotels

"A good hotel local to the city and accessible by tram, in a quiet location. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a view of the city. The room contains a fridge stocked with refreshments that you have to pay for with tea and coffee provided. The bathroom contained little touches with sealed packets of ear buds, nail file and tooth picks which is nice touch. Buffet breakfast was good with a nice variety of food catering for all tastes however the plates are quite small so be prepared for a few trips back and forth to the buffet. The pool was good but cold when first entering so be prepared ro swim a few laps ro warm up."

"One of the best 4 star hotels I have stayed at! No regrets choosing Hotel Savoy at all. Located very near the main station and surroundings are filled with plenty of shops and food. Service from the staff is excellent as well. I rarely say this but I have no complaints."

"This hotel location is very close to the train station that is just 1 stop next to the Bern main train station. So, it’s very convenient to go to Bern for a visit. There is a COOP supermarket that’s a few steps from the hotel. Thus, it’s very fast to buy something nearby."

"You need to take tram to Bern centre which the tram comes frequently and took around 10mins only. The room is spacious and quiet. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. There's no supermarket or convenient store around the hotel."

"In the case of high prices in Switzerland, this hotel is very cost-effective. It is only 5 minutes walk from the station and 6-7 minutes from the old town. The hotel breakfast is delicious! There are quite a lot of types, as well as freshly squeezed juices"

"Stunning innovative hotel concept. I’m simply blown away, never seen something like this! Everything is done through your phone and it works amazing. (Booking, checkin, reception services, music etc. Interior design with much love and cool details, we could even play Mario Cart on NES in the backyard. Studio is as well amazing flexible, main block is moveable so you have either enough space for you bed or minimize it to use kitchen etc. Host Macha and Thalia are locals and know their stuff. Outstanding experience. Visit rooftop terrace for stunning views over the skyline of Bern. And if it’s rainy you can play around with the complimentary crossbow in your room. Another cute detail (you find lots of them) will come again."

"It was a pity that there was no air conditioning and only a long fan, but the Swiss weather was cool, so it was nice to be able to sleep comfortably with the window slightly open! I asked them to clean the room every time I left, and they did so nicely! The front desk staff were friendly and the room was clean and cozy, so I would stay there again! The tram from Bern Station is a bit far, but there is a coop right next door, and I bought food from the coop every evening. ㅎㅎ"

"The counter stuffs are very friendly and helpful:)) The location is still okie, take 5 stops to Bern train station. Just need to be notify, hotel prefer self-check in system, so it’s better to fill up the check-in form online via email before arrived, otherwise will drag long time to do it. ( I saw many people stuck with the check-in machine)"

"It'd the right standard and price for this type of lodging. It's a little away from the Old Town but then again, Bern is small enough that this doesn't really mean much - just a short walk. It's clean and quiet at night which is all I wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful, they even brought me an electric kettle I asked for - though I believe there were also some communal ones in the small kitchenette on the floor. Overall, I'd stay there again."
