Unkind service, irresponsible response, avoiding mistakes. We rented a room and stayed overnight. However, there was a problem with the water tank in the toilet, so we had to refill the water tank ourselves with a bucket to flush it everytime. It was very embarrassing and confusing, but the desk staff told us there was nothing they could do about it because it was night, and to contact their manager in the morning. We waited and had to check out with the inconvenience until the end. However, the staff in the morning also told us that there was nothing they could do about it because we had made a reservation at the agency service and told us to contact the agency service. They didn't care about our inconvenience, were rude and irresponsible, and never saw a smile. We contacted the agency service and connected with the hotel, but the response came back that the hotel had never received such feedback from us. We complained twice! We were not compensated properly and the small amount of points the agency service gave us were all we received. They are rude, unkind, and do not see any wrongdoing. It was the worst hotel we have ever experienced in our lives. Do not come here. That should be better to sleep the little bench in front of this hotel.

It feels like a common American motel, with wooden rooms and poor sound insulation. Right next to the main road. We originally booked for four days, but after checking in on the first day, we found stains on the bed sheets. We couldn't stand it anymore and contacted Ctrip to cancel the next three days.
For breakfast, we just went to the front desk office to get something and ate it in the room.
The guy at the front desk was nice. I arrived at 10 o'clock and he checked me in early. He was very unhappy when he received the complaint later, but he probably felt that he had been good enough to me. I don't blame him, it's the hygiene and safety of the hotel that I really can't stand.
The only advantage is the good location. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Berkeley University and there is a supermarket nearby.
If the price is less than 100 US dollars, you can consider it, but if the price is close to 200 US dollars, the cost-effectiveness is too low.
