H10 Porto Poniente

First time in Benidorm meeting friends but stayed in different hotel from them as I am a big fan of the H10 brand - this hotel did not disappoint. Wonderful welcome in reception with a glass of cava - checked in quickly and was delighted by my sea view room - spacious comfortable modern and spotlessly clean. Shower was amazing. Although half board I only had breakfast here twice which was very good - great selection and the restaurant was very big so no queuing or crowding. Sat outside the hotel reception and was served drinks from the bar - wonderful place to meet friends before heading out to the old town. Directly opposite is the lovely beach which did get crowded but the hotel has 2 great spots with pools on the 5th and 7th floor. Pool bar on the 5th floor was a lovely spot for lunch. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Maid service excellent. If I return to Benidorm this is the hotel I would return to. It is perfectly placed easy access to old town and great sea views.

Fabulous hotel from start to finish. Walking in the smell was lovely. Staff very friendly and welcoming , nice little bottle of fizz in the room to celebrate a special birthday. Great location. Food was lovely something different all time, was staying 5 nights only ate out once on an evening due to birthday. Would definitely recommend paying extra for the sea view. Beautiful clean rooms. One of the best hotels we have stayed in lately. Hope to return one day.

Brilliant couples hotel located in the old town right on the beach front. Reception staff all cheerful and checked us in early. Also organised a surprise bottle of cava in the room on our anniversary and advised about an early breakfast option on the day we left. Junior suite city facing is large but a bit dull due to lack of light. We were on the first floor opposite the spa which suited us as we didn’t use the lifts to go between the room and reception as they can take a while to arrive. The cleaner generally had our room cleaned while we were at breakfast. Cleaning is of a high level in all areas and amenities in the bathroom were topped up regularly. Amenities included shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and body lotion. A lot of hotels are not providing conditioner and body lotion these days so it was good to see those as standard. There were also extras like dental kit, shoe shine, comb etc that we didn’t use but useful for some. Spa can be booked once on the app and thereafter with reception once per day. Spaces are limited and both times we used it we were the only guests. Spa consists of plunge pool with jets and a sauna. There is a decent gym but we didn’t use that. Restaurant is buffet style. Food is good at breakfast and dinner offering a variety of options well presented. The wine list is good and competitively priced. Service is efficient and staff are like a tag team with one clearing away while another cleans up and another resets the table. Wine can be labelled and kept for another day. The seating area is not overly large and designed to give more of a dining feel than canteen some places of old had. The bar area is more like a waiting room for dinner so we didn’t sit there, however, the seating area out the front of the hotel was really relaxing. There is a lovely pool area on level 5 with sunbeds. We had no problems in Nov getting a bed after midday. There is a lovely cafe/bar area on the same level. Bars around the hotel were nice and attracted a similar crowd. A short walk to the tapas bars of the old town and the taxi rank for a trip to the ***** or it’s a 30 min walk to the Western Saloon to see the tribute acts. Overall a brilliant modern hotel in a great location with fantastic staff. I’d definitely recommend and return on future trips.

Excellent 3rd stay of the year. Having never been to Benidorm before this year ,it says a lot about our Stays at this Hotel The accommodation and food are brilliant but the best part of our stays have been the Staff. We were surprised in the Dining Room to receive a bottle of bubbly to celebrate my Birthday.Totally unexpected but well received!!! A special mention for ANA on reception for her attention not only when we arrived but throughout our stay

On arrival everyone was given free glass of champagne apart from my wife and I? Was told room would be ready about 3 or earlier that they would phone us and let us know. After walking about all day in our travelling clothes decided at half 3 to go to hotel . Told our room was ready but never thought to phone us and tell us. Never explained to us that you had to pay for bottled water at dinner time. Dinner in restaurant was a total free for all no organisation. Beautiful hotel and staff only to be spoilt by these minor details
