Sandos Monaco - Adults Only

We are on the last day of our week's stay at Sandos Monaco Hotel, Benidorm. We have never visited Benidorm before, so decided a couple of months ago to get something booked up. We chose the Sandos Monaco Hotel due to it's location, price and reviews and are very pleased with our choice. Upon arrival at about 8pm, we were booked in quickly and made our way to room 1102 (on the 11th floor). The room is spacious and clean with a good sized balcony. It has a kettle, hairdryer, mini fridge and large tv in it, along with a super powerful and warm shower over a bath. The beds are very comfortable and we have both slept very well. The room has been kept very clean by the cleaners and the towels replaced dailybif required. The food is varied and tasty . . Definitely something for everyone. Special thanks to Toni, Miguel, Roxanna and Raul who made every dining experience with their smiles and hard work. The outside space is of a good size and the snack bar offers a variety of food during the day between lunch and dinner. The all inclusive package is great (we didn't upgrade to select) and we have particularly enjoyed the cocktails We took advantage of the free Indian meal at the sister hotel (Sandos Benidorm Suites) on Wednesday evening and it was a fabulous evening. Great food, atmosphere and service by Leila. The only thing that we have been disappointed in is having to pay to go into the indoor pool, sauna and steam room. ..any hotel we have stayed in before have included this. We think maybe if we had upgraded to select we would have had this included? We have done lots of walking this week and have been very impressed with both Levante and Poniente beaches . . Kept so clean. Old Town is particularly beautiful and worth a visit. We took the bus to and tram back from Altea . . Stunning. All in all, we have had a fabulous week and will definitely be returning and recommending both Benidorm and Sandos Monaco to friends and family.

Sando Monaco Benidorm. Firstly the staff at this hotel are exceptional. The rooms are very good, although not the quality of Sandos Benidorm Suites fantastic rooms. The food was more of a traditional Spanish flavour and I couldn't fault it, but some did. Of course it doesn't match the Benidorm Suites, where does? I found food at the Royal Princess to be more varied, but I couldn't complain at the Monaco's food. And the solo room at the Princess was poor, the hotel was noisy with entertainment aimed at children. The entertainment in the Monaco was very good, all held in a lovely concert room that is far superior to the Bendidorm Suites. The pool area was good and the hotels location is excellent and far better than Benidorm Suites. Between the two unless you stay in the hotel sunbathing eat its the Monaco in preference to the Benidor Suites. The Indian food at the Suites is not very good. Monaco is a straight 300yrd walk to Levante and not much further to the old town. Take warm clothes after mid October. Some were swimming in the pool and sea in mid November 2025.

Just back from Sandos Monaco hotel. Had a brilliant time. The location was great. We didnt hear a sound at night time. We stayed all inclusive. The food was delicious and Im picky. Loads of choice. You get a meal with wine in the Indian in the sister hotel as part of your stay. Its a lovely place and staff so courteous. There is a kettle and fridge and you can get tea coffee and sugar on request. Everyone was very pleasant. Im totally mistified at some of the bad reviews. We will definitely come back to the hotel and I would recommend it to anyone.

Having stayed at this hotel over the last 12 years this year will be our last… The food on some nights was awful… The poolside snack bar food is even worse, it’s reheated food that is still sometimes cold..Mine went straight into the bin.. The rooms are really tired and have not been changed at all in many years, the dark brown furniture really needs to go!..The bathrooms also need updating, stained baths and over the bath showers are not what you expect from a 4 star hotel…The poolside and terrace areas are clean and the beds are fine but the drinks from the bar are not great, if you ask for a cocktail it’s just a fruit juice with a splash of alcohol.. The only positive is the location but other hotels can offer that.

We have been to the Sandos Monaco many times and just returned from a 14 day holiday....and today have booked another 14 day holiday next year ...it's a great hotel, lovely people ....enough said .....all the best to the hotel staff Tom & Patricia

Well we only really came to Benidorm due to being huge fans of the tv series and we choose this hotel as we’d never done adult only places. Super impressed with the staff however as always the food layout each day is awful I’m not sure if this is due to me being a fussy eater or just not into the dishes they serve my partner being vegetarian also had hardly any options and we waited quite a few days for veggie sausages to be available for our breakfast it finally came but only for 1 day this is also unacceptable entertainment was hardly existent a few low end failed xfactor wanna be acts and most of the time you’d rather save your ears and go for a walk on the beach however being adult only I’m guessing most of the clients don’t like entertainment? All in all we’ve enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t return to this hotel personally but wouldn’t rule out another visit to Benidorm in the future.
