Barceló Benidorm Beach - Adults Recommended

This was our second stay at Barceló Benidorm Beach, and it was just as fantastic as our first! We love coming here in early November to enjoy the sunshine, local festivals, and Tapas Alley. Check-in: Smooth and efficient. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, offering help with our luggage and making us feel right at home from the start. Room: We stayed in one of the accessible rooms, which was excellent. Spacious bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space, a very comfortable bed, and crisp, fresh sheets. The large wet room was superb — thoughtfully designed with grab rails, shelves, and plenty of space to move around easily. Bar: Lovely bar area with great views and a good range of drinks — from draught beers to wines by the glass or bottle. Breakfast: Fantastic selection! The buffet was well-stocked, with plenty of hot options. The coffee and pastries were delicious, and being able to enjoy a glass of Cava with breakfast was a lovely touch. Accessibility: Excellent throughout — easy access to the bar, dining areas, and public spaces. There’s also an accessible WC on the ground floor, so no need to return to your room. B Heaven Rooftop Bar: Opens at 10 a.m. and does get busy, but it’s absolutely worth waiting by the lift to grab a lounger. The views are stunning, the drinks service is great, and there’s daily music entertainment that adds to the relaxed vibe. Would we come back? Absolutely — in a heartbeat! The location and rooftop terrace make this hotel a standout choice in Benidorm.

Ants in bathroom, gym was claustrophobic, we were charged for buffet drinks we didn't have and the elevators take you on a random tour of the building before you get to the floor you selected. The staff were really good and addressed all of our issues but too many things went wrong for us to recommend staying here.

Currently staying here. Arrived Tuesday for 5 nights. Stayed here previously in January in a double room with side sea view. This time we went for a deluxe double with sea view and balcony. Beautiful room with terrace, Sun beds, settee and table and chairs. This break is to celebrated our wedding anniversary and we arrived to a complimentary bottle of champagne. Hotel is beautiful, stepping out onto the promenade and a couple of steps over to the beach. Everywhere is very clean and personable staff. Only slight issue, but not weighty enough to knock off stars, is regardless of length of stay you only get two complimentary milks and coffee in the room and if you want more there is a charge. I can understand this if staying for one night but not when staying for five. However like already mentioned, not a dealbreaker in any regards. Hotel is in Old Town with lots of bars and lovely restaurants and it’s only a 15 minute walk to the New Town so ideally placed. Definitely coming back, in fact we intend to book for March!!

Fantastic hotel beachfront near to old town. All the staff were excellent couldn't do enough for you. Rooftop bar and pool with fantastic views drinks and food very reasonably priced. Room was spacious with all amenities you need. We were half board and the food was fantastic. Have booked to return.

What can I say ? The Barcelo is a beautiful beachfront hotel. At check in they do ask for credit or debit card details which was fine, We were in room 511. Side siew room. The rooms are beautiful with very comfy beds. The safe is free and is located above the fridge in a cupboard. (We had to ask reception where it was) . If youve booked a sidd sea view room ask for room 511 as some of the other side seaview rooms don't have much of a view. Tea/coffee avaliable in roon and a complimentary bottles of water in fridge on arrival, however these are not replemished but there is a supermarket next door. My only winge are the lifts are slow and you need to keep tapping your room card and then press the number you want. On the 8th floor is the rooftop bar where the pool is located and various comfortable sunbeds, tables and chairs. Great views and good price on drinks. Pool is quite small though. Please note the rooftop bar does not open before 10am so the lift won't go up too that floor before 10am. Its open 10til 6 everyday. FOOD Fantastic selection to suit all. Always hot . In fact the best food we have tasted in this hotel compared to others we have stayed in. 10/10 Location Best of both worlds walking distance to the old town and Pontiente side is 10 mins. In our opinion that is the best side. However if you prefer Levante side. Its on your doorstep. As for bars/restaurants Too many to remember. There is also a bar restaurant Santa Maria on the terrace downstairs for a lovely meal and drinks. Overall Would we stay hers again. Hands down. Overall experience 10/10

Great hotel, great location, fabulous breakfast buffet. We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and were super pleased . The receptionists were all really friendly and everywhere in the building was exceptionally clean. The beds were so comfy too! mince had a memory foam topper on the mattress. I had no trouble sleeping. No need to take lots of toiletries . Shampoo, shower gel & conditioner are all provided. There was a decent hairdryer in the room and tea/coffee making facilities plus a mini fridge. Positioned right on the esplanade at the end of Levante beach, 5 minutes from Old Town and Tapas Alley. Great views from the rooftop terrace and bar . I highly recommend it.
