Kunigami District Beach Hotels

Compared to hotels in the city center, this hotel is quite good for Okinawa overall. The room is spacious, and it didn't feel cramped for two people. The room amenities and hotel facilities are all excellent. The hotel service is great, and all the staff are very nice and try their best to meet our needs. What I liked most was that you could book snorkeling directly through the hotel. After sending an email, I received a booking link, making online reservations very convenient. The tour departed directly from the hotel's pier, which was hassle-free. The snorkeling instructor was excellent, very patient, and had a great attitude. The hotel's water activities were super fun, and the jet ski instructor was fantastic and entertaining; we had an absolute blast. For breakfast, we chose the buffet, which primarily offered Japanese and Western options. There weren't many Chinese dishes, and no noodle station. There are several restaurants right outside the hotel along the street. The ones across the street have similar flavors. There's also a Lawson across the street, making it very convenient for dining and picking up small items. The hotel is a bit far from Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, American Village, and Kokusai Street. American Village is about a 30-minute taxi ride (1 hour by bus), the aquarium is an hour by taxi, and Kokusai Street is over an hour by taxi. Taking the bus would be very time-consuming.

This hotel is split into two buildings: a hotel wing and an apartment wing. The hotel wing boasts incredibly spacious balconies, which is a huge plus! Even though the weather wasn't great, the sea view from the room directly overlooked a stunning 'glass sea,' which was absolutely delightful. While some facilities are a bit dated, they are very well-maintained and you'll find everything you need. The decor has a strong Southeast Asian resort vibe, truly enhancing the vacation experience. You can book the airport limousine bus through the hotel's front desk; they only accept cash, but it's very convenient. The bus arrives punctually at the main hotel lobby. The breakfast selection on the first floor is limited but sufficient for basic needs, and they even serve alcohol!

We really love this hotel. Friendly and attentive service when we reached the hotel. Love the location with a very serene nice private beach. If not for the rain we would definitely love to explore more of their activities such as the mini golf and sauna. There are also restaurants located in the resort whereby there is a good choice of western, Japanese and etc. we had a good buffet dinner at the surf cafe which comprised of a good variety. The hotel breakfast is really splendid as we get to try out their local specialty Such as the pork egg onigiri and one salty peanut pudding as well as a good spread of bread , fruits and dessert .No complaints and we would definitely be back for this hotel facilities.

This is a traditional Japanese hotel and it's very clean overall. The large public bath is open until midnight. However, there aren't many restaurants nearby. The hotel has a small beach where many locals enjoy water activities. Overall, it's great, and I'd come back again. The price is also very reasonable, so I'm very satisfied! You can choose between a bed or a futon on tatami, but you can only pick one option, otherwise there's an extra charge. I didn't confirm the details with the hotel, but if you want to sleep on tatami, I recommend checking with the staff beforehand to see if both guests need to choose the same sleeping arrangement. The bed is also very large; two adults and one child can sleep comfortably without feeling cramped.

Here are some detailed tips: 1. **Transportation**: You can take the Limousine Bus (CD line) directly from Naha Airport to the hotel entrance. The last bus departs at 6 PM. Look for the 'Airport - Domestic Terminal' direction, and purchase your ticket at Gate 2. Cash payment is required. The hotel front desk can book a return bus to the airport/Naha Bus Terminal, but only morning departures are available. The bus stop is located just a short walk to the left after exiting the hotel. The journey typically takes 1.5 hours. 2. **Dining**: I recommend booking a stay that includes breakfast; the buffet breakfast is excellent, and you can enjoy it with ocean views. For dinner, you can purchase the buffet on-site. Remember to use the 10% discount coupon provided by the hotel. Dining options nearby are limited; about 100 meters from the hotel, there's only one shabu-shabu restaurant, which also offers sukiyaki. 3. **Shopping**: The hotel has a souvenir shop and a convenience store, but prices are a bit high. About 100 meters from the hotel, across the road, there's a Family Mart convenience store with reasonable prices. 4. **Facilities**: All water sports activities on the beach incur extra charges, but the pricing is transparent. The outdoor and indoor pools are free, and the indoor pool is heated. There's a fee for the hot springs, which varies depending on the time of day, with mornings being cheaper and evenings most expensive. I suggest going in the afternoon; it opens after 4 PM, there are fewer people, and you can enjoy the beach view. It's located near the indoor pool on the first floor and can be a bit hard to find, so ask a staff member for directions. It costs 600 JPY per person in the afternoon. If you opt out of room cleaning, the hotel provides a 1000 JPY voucher that can be used at the hotel's hot springs, restaurants, or convenience store. 5. **Rooms**: The rooms are generally clean. Remember to request a high floor from the staff, especially if you've booked an ocean view room. This hotel in Okinawa offered a thoroughly satisfying stay overall. The hotel environment was clean and comfortable, and the room facilities were excellent, allowing for a good night's rest throughout our stay. Its convenient location near the station and popular attractions made shopping and dining incredibly easy. The staff were friendly and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth, providing thoughtful service. This stay added many wonderful memories to our trip, and we would definitely consider staying here again on a future visit to Okinawa.

Although it's an older resort, it's very clean and the service is excellent. As I'm pregnant, I'd requested a non-smoking room in the special requests section. They not only offered valet parking every time but also provided a pregnancy body pillow. It was also great to be able to check room amenities and activity statuses via a QR code in the room. Breakfast was superb!

Value for money. The room was spacious featuring a tatami area, a large bathroom and a kitchen. *No pots or plates etc* A convenience store directly opposite and many restaurants within walking distance. Free parking is also a great bonus. Despite being located on a main road, the room was quiet and comfortable. Decent playground next to it, good for family with kids. There are also few diving centres around the corner.

The scenery of the hotel is really beautiful and people don’t want to leave. Unfortunately, the floor of the hotel is a carpet. The musty smell is super heavy. I also went to buy a mold and sterilization room to have a way to sleep well.

Excellent location and service, the location is superb, being close to not only beaches, but also in-between Yomitan and Onna (and OIST university, if you'd like to visit your friends). There's also a combini right next doors(!. Cape Maeda, Zakimi Castle is also all at cycleable distance!
