It was fantastic! The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. It even had a terrace with beautiful views and a wide view. The area was very quiet. The front desk was warm and attentive, and the staff were very nice. It's been a while since I've stayed in such a good, affordable hotel.

Wonderful setting and decor. Clean, comfortable bed. Would be good to add a smaller shower with the rain shower as it was difficult to have a shower without a shower cap
Helpful and attentive staff.
Good breakfast except they had obviously ran out of fresh mushrooms and replaced them with tinned, would have been better if they had asked if they can replace with something else and they were left untouched

Our stay at Oldfields House was outstanding we were shown our room then offered another with a stunning four post bed, which we settled into quite quickly. The staff on check in were amazing and fixed us up promptly and courteously. Breakfast was delicious and filling and our coffee was perfect.

The staff was very kind and cute, especially the owner. We definitely enjoyed our stay, the room was really cozy. We are looking forward to another visit.
