"Great room decent size friendly staff. Only down side to it the bed was hard and the pillows were thin. Hot water was hit and miss in the shower one day you will have some the next you don't. The heating didn't work in the room but got a heater from reception. Overall a pleasant stay and would stay there again."

"We were visiting Barry and Penarth so the location is perfect. There was a problem with the loo which couldnt be fixed but they quickly found us a different room. I have an issue hotels charging for wifi but you do get 30 mins free. The Toby linked to the Hotel does a great breakfast"

"Went to Barry for a Gavin and Stacey themed weekend, the hotel is in a good location, about 15 minutes walk to the sea front and about same to the town centre. The hotel is spotless and our room was great, comfortable and quiet. The reception staff were friendly too."

"Lovely guest house within a ten minute walk to the please park and Barry Island train station. We stayed over for a night for the Gavin and Stacey tour and it was the perfect location. Upon arrival we rang the door bell and was swiftly greeted by Lyndon, who is a very friendly man with a great sense of humour. He informed us of where to park and to fill out a breakfast form. We arrived earlier but our room was already ready for us which was a bonus. We stayed in room 3 which had been recently refurbished and new carpet, a lovely modern room with a smart TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities and plenty of storage for our bags. It was nice and quiet in the guest house and the bed was so comfy! We had our breakfast which was made fresh to order, and tasted delicious. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Barry! Thank you for your hospitality and for making us feel so welcome. 🤗"
