The location is the best. It's on Las Ramblas, so I only took the subway once during the five-day stay. Transportation costs were almost non-existent. The ceilings were high, so it felt much more spacious. However, the soundproofing is not very good. If you are sensitive, don't go. You can hear the baby crying in the next room.

Good stay with friendly staff and the right room in 2x.
There is no air conditioning, so the rooms that do not have a window to the outside are very warm.
Fortunately, we were able to switch rooms after 1 night.

The hotel is well located, clean! On the other hand, we hear too much the cleaning ladies early in the morning and in addition with walky talkies, I had the impression of having the police in front of the door, it's a shame they could be careful especially when they see the sign not disturb on the door.

Read some worrying reviews about this hotel, think they must have been at a different hotel. Location is really convenient for visiting all parts of Barcelona. Lovely little pool for cooling down at end of the day. Comfy beds, nice bathroom, decent air conditioning, friendly staff. Felt completely safe with 24 hr reception and cctv everywhere. What's not to like?

I stayed at the Onix Hotel for 3 days and a thief broke into the hotel room. Alberto is the hotel manager and together with the staff he did nothing for us. They treated us very badly. The hotel is not safe, they can enter from the street and kill you.

Stayed for 5 nights in May. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and out was smooth. The addition of tea and coffee facilities in the foyer was welcome. We would stay again. Staff in the breakfast area seemed to be busy so would maybe suggest a trolley for guests to clear away their own dishes to assist staff

Perfect Location - close to Las Ramblas, supermarkets, bakeries. Just a short walk to transport links Spotlessly Clean Quiet Hotel Powerful Shower Friendly and Helpful Staff Complementary Coffee Machine Safe Luggage Storage Late Checkout Fridge/Mini Bar Unfortunately we didn't find the beds very comfortable and the pillows were very flat in the middle but this was fine for a short stay and wouldn't put us off booking this hotel a second time or recommending.
