I can’t speak highly enough of this guest house. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout- the room, the common areas, and the surrounding property were spotless and well-maintained.
The food was a true highlight: high-quality, and absolutely exquisite. Every meal felt like it was prepared with love and care, using fresh ingredients.
The staff were incredibly polite, warm, and always ready to help with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel genuinely welcome.
As for the environment, it was nothing short of paradise. Peaceful, clean, green, and utterly pleasant. Surrounded by nature, with birdsong and fresh air instead of noise and stress. We honestly didn’t want to leave.
I highly recommend this guest house to anyone who feels connected to nature, values true hospitality, and wants a getaway that feeds both body and soul.
Many thanks 🫶🫶🥰🥰

I absolutely loved the hotel's location. I've stayed at the Banyan Tree before, which is touted as having the best views, but I actually think the St. Regis is superior. The hotel's back entrance on the first floor leads directly to the Haihe River promenade, and in the summer evenings, sitting by the river and enjoying the colorful light show on both banks of the Haihe River is incredibly pleasant. The breakfast selection and quality were decent; the fried dough (zha gao) and black pepper sausage were a pleasant surprise, much better than the so-called 'internet-famous' zha gao I bought at the early morning market in Xibeijiao. There was also a good variety of desserts and pastries, not too sweet, and clearly made with care. Overall, my parents were quite satisfied with the hotel, from the facilities and views to the food and service. We will definitely stay at the St. Regis again on our next visit to Tianjin.

Guest User✨✨✨✨✨Location: The hotel is located in the heart of the Haihe River, making it very convenient to take a taxi to nearby attractions. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Five Avenues.
✨✨✨✨✨Check-in: We checked in on a weekend, and the hotel was quite busy. Our room wasn't ready on time, so they offered two complimentary breakfasts as compensation. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk proactively helped with our luggage, and it was already in our room when we arrived.
✨✨✨✨✨Room: The classic palace-style room is very popular with ladies, but it does show its age a bit. The suite has a dressing room. The bottled water provided is canned Voss, and subsequent refills were also the same Voss, not the Ritz-specific plastic bottles, which was a pleasant surprise. Turndown service was excellent, and the rose tea provided was a nice touch.
✨✨✨✨Dining: We only experienced breakfast. While the variety might be a bit limited, I don't think it's as bad as some reviews suggest. The bread and coffee were basically perfect, the chili in the noodles was flavorful, and there was ice cream (cones and cups available) that the kids loved. However, the Eggs Benedict and smoked salmon could be improved.
✨✨✨✨Hotel Facilities and Overall Environment: Before arriving, we had told our child it was a 'castle hotel,' so they were very excited and took lots of pictures upon arrival. However, the hotel isn't particularly child-friendly overall. The heated pool was long enough but a bit narrow, with only two lanes, but the water temperature was good and suitable for children to play in.

Tired of the urban jungle, I yearned for a getaway to the mountains. So, I drove over a hundred kilometers to Ji County's Zuowang Mountain Resort, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations – a definite five-star review!
This isn't your average B&B; the resort is expansive and built into the mountainside, with picturesque views at every turn. The facilities are comprehensive, featuring two koi ponds and an Instagram-worthy infinity pool that really sets the mood. Multiple viewing platforms at various heights offer progressively stunning vistas.
Outdoors, the natural mountain scenery is breathtaking, offering expansive views of the village and countryside. The in-room amenities were a delightful surprise: a Mousse mattress ensuring a soft and comfortable sleep, Bulgari toiletries with a sophisticated and elegant scent, and even a Marshall speaker. Every detail exuded quality. It's a perfect blend of natural mountain ambiance and modern, luxurious facilities, balancing scenery, comfort, and quality.
The food also completely surpassed my expectations. The freshly made flatbread for breakfast was crispy and delicious, and the à la carte home-style dishes were authentic and flavorful.
It's the perfect place to completely unwind and destress from city life. Spending two days a month here, immersing myself in the fresh air and relaxation, is incredibly blissful. And a big thank you to the owner for the complimentary hawthorn snack souvenir – it was soft, fresh, and tastier than even Jinye or Yida!

Heisepaomo89757The Four Seasons Tianjin is an established luxury hotel, and their service is genuinely attentive and professional. From the moment you walk in until you reach your room, someone is always there to guide you. The front desk staff were also very gentle and informative. Housekeeping service deserves praise too, as they cater to guest requests. The restaurant, however, might be a slight letdown. It felt a bit rigid, and while the service wasn't bad, it was on par with what you'd expect at an average local restaurant. Compared to other departments, it felt a little less impressive. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Anonymous User1. **Stunning Views**
The guest rooms come standard with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. The higher-floor river view rooms directly face the Haihe River, offering exceptional views of the sunset and nightscape. The indoor heated pool also features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Haihe, providing a dual experience of swimming and sightseeing. The Horizon Club (executive lounge) on the 32nd floor offers high-altitude views perfect for photos and afternoon tea.
2. **Extremely Convenient Location**
The hotel is directly connected to Kerry Centre shopping mall, which has a full range of dining, cinema, and supermarket options. It's just one subway stop directly to Tianjin Railway Station. For those driving, it's very close to Heping Road, Jinwan Plaza, and the Wudadao area. Underground parking is free.
3. **Well-Maintained Facilities**
Despite being open for many years, the hotel is well-maintained and doesn't feel old or run-down. Guest rooms are approximately 48㎡, offering spacious interiors and a standard separate bathtub. The bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is good. The gym is well-equipped, and the pool water quality is consistent.
4. **Consistently Good Service**
The front desk and concierge are responsive. Guests celebrating birthdays during their stay can receive complimentary basic decorations. Cleaning standards are high. This hotel is suitable for both business travelers and families.

Wilson7This was my second stay here. I chose The Tangla Hotel again because the rooms are spacious, and so are the bathrooms, making for a very comfortable stay. There's a desk for working and a sofa with a coffee table perfect for eating or just lounging. The walk-in closet also offers ample storage. It would be even better if the glass partitions were opaque, allowing a family to use different areas simultaneously. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, a rare find in other hotels, and of very high quality. Plus, the location is great; Five Great Avenues and Jiangbin Road are all within walking or cycling distance, making dining and shopping very convenient. The only downside is that some of the facilities are a bit old, with minor issues here and there, like a leaky showerhead, a bathroom door that's hard to push open, and unclear light indicators. These are areas the hotel could definitely address. Overall, I think it offers great value for money. I recommend staying here.

LaomatihuazuiaidandanmianI stayed at the Marriott with my kids for a competition. It's right next to the exhibition center; you can walk from the Marriott lobby to Entrance 25 of the exhibition in just two minutes. There's also a connecting corridor to the Sheraton. The Marriott rooms are quite spacious, and they have bathtubs. The electricity turns on automatically when you use your key card. The bed was very comfortable, the shower pressure was great, and the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast is from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM and is very rich and comprehensive, offering everything you could want. On the 6th floor, there's a gym, swimming pool, and a kids' play area. The kids' play area is a lot of fun and is open until 10:30 PM; hotel guests can use it for free. Laundry is a paid service. Food delivery isn't allowed to rooms, but there are delivery lockers outside the lobby, which makes picking up food very convenient. The yellow broth beef noodles at the Noodle Hall on the second floor were delicious – not spicy and very tasty. The Chinese restaurant on the first floor has even better à la carte dishes, highly recommended. Emily at the front desk was very attentive and patient during check-in, helping us resolve all our questions. I'll definitely choose the Marriott again next time.

Michael Exploring China and Beyond
We checked into the Tuanbo Lake Hotspring Resort & Spa for one night, as we wanted to see if it's suitable for future visits.
We enjoyed our stay so much, and decided to extended our stay with another night.
The Resort is devided into two sections, with the Villa Style Hotspring Rooms on one end, and the Private Hotspring in Room ”House Soup”, on the other end.
We stayed at the ”House Soup” section, during this visit, as we wanted to enjoy our own private Hotspring in room.
Service received from all staff members were good, and they were all very courteous and efficient.
They were courtesy enough, to show us the Villa's as well.
The room was well prepared upon our arrive, and our room was decorated (Romantic Theme), as requested.
The Resort is a short drive out of the City, and it's advisable to allow ample time during your stay.
I will not recommend staying here, for one night only, but rather for a few nights if possible.
We will most definitely return, and spend more time here during longer holidays or time of work.
I can recommend this establishment to all future guests, foreign or domestic.

Guest UserCame to Tianjin for a family trip with the kids. Didn't have to make up beds individually, which saved a lot of energy. The room had plenty of storage, so it was easy to put away the kids' toys and our luggage. The starry ceiling was a big hit with the kids; they kept asking to go play in the lobby every day. Plus, there's a snack street right downstairs, making it a one-stop shop for eating, staying, and having fun.
