The hotel comes with a complimentary parking lot, making it very friendly for road trippers! Stayed here on our way back from Nan'ao Island, and the food options around Zhujiang Road Food Street were fantastic!

Five-star recommendation for Haitangli Seaview B&B! The absolute highlight is the stunning ocean view; the vast blue sea right outside the window is perfect for photos. The B&B's decor is simple yet stylish, and the rooms are meticulously clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The lifeguard at the pool was friendly and attentive, and the pool itself is a great spot for memorable photos. Here, you can slow down and watch the tide ebb and flow, enjoy the sea breeze, and admire the sunset, shedding all your travel fatigue. The experience far exceeded expectations. The seawater pool is incredibly clean, and both the scenery and service are top-notch. This B&B is definitely my first choice for a vacation in this area and is well worth a special trip.

Located near Shantou Vientiane City, it's very convenient for getting around. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and comfortable. Overall, it was quiet and not noisy, making for a great stay. The service was smooth, and it offers good value for money, perfect for a short, relaxing break.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise during our National Day trip to Chaoshan. Before the holiday, hotel prices in Chaoshan skyrocketed—even budget hotels were over 500 RMB, and some near the MixC mall were asking 800+ RMB, which was honestly absurd. This 5-star hotel was just over 500 RMB and even included breakfast. The room was spacious and fully equipped with a separate bathroom, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the surrounding area was very quiet at night. The minibar was restocked daily for free, the beef kway teow at breakfast was delicious, and they even offered free congee and dishes in the evening, which was a very thoughtful touch. It's only about a ten-minute drive to downtown attractions like the MixC mall and Longyannan Road Night Market. Very convenient location!

I'm writing this review a month after checking out, because just thinking about it still makes me angry 😤! Room: First, let's talk about the room layout. I booked a tatami room thinking it would be good for storing things. I arrived in Shantou late at night, and after checking in, I opened the room door to find a mirror directly facing the entrance (with a small spotlight above it). All the fatigue from driving for several hours instantly vanished – it was horrifying! What kind of designer puts a mirror facing the door? Later, I realized it was probably because the room was small and there was nowhere else to put the mirror. The entire room didn't even have a proper desk, just a very small low table, about 20-30 cm high. After putting a tissue box on it, it was hard to even eat takeout. There was no space for laptops, tablets, or personal items, so I had to put them on the wooden shelf above the water kettle. The entire room only shared one trash can with the toilet area… The smart features of the toilet were all in useless places; it didn't have heating or a bidet, just a motion-sensing lid opener? Every time I went to the shower, the toilet lid would open automatically 😂. For a hotel that costs several hundred yuan, they use 'Bing Lu' mineral water, which even the Orange hotel two blocks away doesn't use anymore. The room came with a coffee machine, but no milk or sugar, which is unfriendly to those who like sweets. Now, for the main reason I felt compelled to write this review. I'm a woman with rather dry hair, reaching about my waist, so conditioner is a must after washing. When I went to use the conditioner after washing my hair, it looked like there was still some left, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't pump any out. The nozzle and bottle were in one piece and couldn't be twisted open. The frustration and anger at that moment were immense! 😤😤 This led to my hair getting tangled, and it took a long time to sort out, ruining my mood for the whole day. Do they really need to be *that* economical? Leaving so little in the bottle just for show? Also, the hotel is truly economical; the elevator doesn't have air conditioning. At around 9 AM, I took the elevator, and there was a very strong smell of sweat inside. There must have been workers who had done a lot of strenuous work and then took the elevator, and the smell was all trapped inside. It was truly awful 🤢. It really doesn't feel like an international brand hotel. Perhaps the Wyndham next door would offer a much better experience.

We booked this hotel for the pool, and our kids loved it. The outdoor pool on the sixth floor was really nice. The hotel lobby is grand, and the rooms are perfectly fine. The breakfast was abundant. We paid 90 yuan for two adults at the front desk, and there was an additional charge for our child. I'd suggest upgrading the hairdryer; it's still the old push-button kind that stops when you let go, which is a bit inconvenient. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and the location is excellent. It's about a 40-minute drive from the airport. Lisa and Vitti provided excellent service! 🌻

Came to Shantou specifically for a food trip, and the location of Rezen Prelude is spot on in the city center. It’s just a few minutes' walk to the Longyan South Road food street, where beef hot pot, rice noodle rolls, marinated raw seafood, and sweet soups are all gathered together. After late-night snacks, strolling back to the hotel is completely effortless. The MixC mall is right next door, making shopping extremely convenient. The hotel features a minimalist, light-luxury design. The lobby is clean and bright, and the front desk was very efficient during check-in, thoughtfully recommending local favorite spots. The room is quite spacious, meticulously cleaned, and odor-free. The bathroom has a wet-dry separation, and the hot water comes out fast and steady. The biggest pleasant surprise was the soundproofing; despite the bustling night market outside, closing the window made the room completely quiet, allowing for undisturbed rest in bed. There are also delivery robots, and a self-service laundry room, which solved the laundry hassle for a multi-day trip. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience. This will be my top choice for eating and exploring in Shantou.

The Golden Leaf Hotel was specially selected for the Shuangzhong Cultural Festival. The hotel has a good location and the team passed by the crossroads in front of the hotel. A long-established hotel with attentive service and a pleasant stay.

Before booking, I inquired with several places on Ctrip, and their host was by far the quickest to reply. They answered all my questions, proactively shared weather forecasts, and recommended the best room types for watching the sunrise—really helping us pick the perfect one. Meeting them in person was even better; they were so genuine. The room was clean with a cozy, cream-toned aesthetic. It has direct ocean views, so we could literally wake up to the sunrise right from bed. The location in Houzhai is easy to find, and parking is convenient. It's rare to find a B&B that is this reliable from booking all the way to check-out. Definitely deserves a top rating!

A wonderful hotel in the middle of a forest. Really friendly and helpful stuff who also know how to leave you alone to enjoy your stay. Food is excellent! We really enjoyed the chicken cooked in the sand pit and the pizza. Their drinks are also excellent. We brought our dog and he loved walking around their gardens which are also very nice. There's two big pools, one of which wasn't open because it was being repaired, but that's life, the pool downstairs was more than enough. Room was big, clean, modern and we'll equipped. Loved the bed so much and loved the projector. Waking up to see the forest outside our window every morning was amazing. Excellent hotel overall and we'll definitely be back in the future. There's not a lot to do nearby, but if you're like me and just love to chill out all day when on holidays, then this is the place for you. They also have lots of chairs outside where you can eat BBQ in sort of a camping style and a massive TV where people like to do some karaoke. Too much to mention! Place is awesome!!!
