This year during the Spring Festival, I traveled to Chaoshan. The first stop after getting off the plane was to stay at Jieyang Guest House. The hotel is located 5 kilometers away from the ancient city of Jieyang. The environment is very beautiful and quiet. The hotel staff asked us to add her WeChat when checking in, and then recommended a travel guide to Jieyang, including parking lots, food streets and other information. We checked in at noon. After having lunch and a short rest at the hotel, we set off to start the tour and did not come back to rest until very late. When checking in and out, I found that the hotel is quite large and has a lot of greenery. The hotel room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. In short, it is a good stay experience.

I chose this hotel because it offers non-smoking rooms and has positive reviews as a new hotel. The breakfast selection is varied, although they don't provide butter knives for bread and suggest using a spoon or chopsticks instead. On the 3rd floor, there are several mahjong rooms with a lot of smoking and noise. Additionally, the room above mine seemed to be hosting a party, which resulted in significant noise and smoke. The management should address the smoking issue, as it affects the entire hotel's public areas. However, the hotel does offer an all-day coffee and tea corner, which is a nice touch. Our 3 night stay was really enjoyable. Location is a quieter part of town, which suited us perfectly. Not only was it close to the river for walking, but also has a street for local eats less than 5 mins walk away. Went to the hotel restaurant for dinner and had a nice meal, well priced. The buffet breakfast had custom omelettes on order and an espresso coffee machine. Room cleanliness was great. The could have used a vacuum, but I am sure it would have been if we cared enough to say something, the service was excellent. Definitely gets a recommendation from us! 👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel room is quite big and clean. It's right next to where you can rent a car and return it. You can check in just in time after you return the car. It's also very close to the airport, a 10-minute walk. The hotel has a car to the airport and it only takes 2 or 3 minutes. Carpets are laid on the floor inside and outside the room to reduce noise. (Outside the room refers to the corridor) After check-out, the front desk can temporarily put luggage for free.
