MAXX by STEIGENBERGER Baoding Shenzhen SCI-TECH AREA

This is my second time in Baoding, and my second time choosing the beautiful Meilun Meihuan Hotel. Overall, I'm satisfied~ Facilities: It's a new hotel with new and complete facilities~ Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean, and the environment is tidy~ Environment: Easy to get a taxi, and it's generally within 20 yuan to most attractions in Baoding~ Service: The service is attentive. They patiently showed me different room types, and even thoughtfully provided a humidifier. The lemon tea at the front desk was refreshingly thirst-quenching~ The only minor drawback is that smoke control in the rooms could be improved. The smell of smoke from some guests' rooms diffused into the public hallway. I suggest keeping the windows in common areas open for timely ventilation~

The room was very new. Downstairs, there's Anjia Zhaobing and other local specialty dishes. We received welcome fruits and drinks. Breakfast is on the second floor and is quite extensive, featuring donkey meat pastries and beef Zhaobing, which truly reflect the local character of the city.

I had seen the beautiful 'Mei Lun Mei Huan' (Beautiful and Magnificent) brand when I was by the Bund. This time I was on a business trip to Beijing and wanted to explore the surroundings during the weekend. I decided to go to Baoding and found this hotel with good ratings and a unique exterior. So, I booked it without hesitation. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and welcoming. There were even welcome fruits and late-night snack services. The toiletries smelled great, and the linens were very comfortable. The high-floor room offered a wide view, and the floor-to-ceiling windows made the entire space feel clean and bright. If I have the chance to visit Baoding again, I will definitely choose this place. Absolutely no regrets! This is a high-end domestic hotel, and the service is even more thoughtful than international hotels.

The bedding is comfortable, the views are great, and the room is very quiet, perfect for business travelers. Plus, the breakfast spread is quite varied, making it excellent value for money.
