Family friendly We stayed with two families-lots of kids. We loved how open the space is. The house is very charming and felt very clean. Making an espresso was a definite plus. But the llamas were the best. The kids spent so much time out with them. They're like giant puppies.

Girl’s annual weekend getaway This house was a quick drive from Lava Hot Springs. The house has several air conditioning units which kept us adequately cooled for our late July/early August stay. The house was clean and we LOVED the llama/llampacas!

Loved our stay! Llamas, we're amazing. Pearl would come running when we called her. Very easy drive to lava hot springs for the fun. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck by the fire. Host was super responsive to my questions during our stay. That was something you sometimes don't get. Thanks!!!

Wow! Perfect family getaway spot The lava yay frame is such a great spot to stay if you want to explore Lava and the rest of Marsh Valley. We spent time in Pocatello, Lava, and Arimo and this was conveniently located to a highway which made it easy to get places. The house is well-furnished with anything you might want during a fun retreat. The kitchen wanted for nothing: there was a crockpot, plenty of dishes, pans, and a griddle, the knives were sharp, and the fridge was a nice size for all the meals of our three night stay. The stove and oven worked perfectly. All the bathrooms were functional, updated, and clean. The living spaces had plenty of seating, but also space for the kids to play on the floor. The beds were comfortable and inviting. The furniture is sturdy and in good repair. The house, while definitely older, is well-maintained, and feels inviting and homey. Holly was super quick to communicate when we had questions. The kids adored watching and feeding the llamas and alpacas. The house is far away from all neighbors, so there was no worry that the kids squeals would annoy others. Several trains go through McCammon on the other side of the highway, and several of the little boys had great fun counting the numbers of cars on each one. We could definitely hear the trains and sometimes the road, but it wasn’t loud or annoying. Overall, we all had a blast. In the words of the five-year-old, “I don’t want to leave here. I want to come back again soon, ok?”

Really fun little house The house is cute as heck! You know how when you stay in a VRBO or the like and it just feels like a hotel with cheap furniture and decor? This one felt like an actual home. You can tell the owner cares about this place! And the llamas are just fun
