Just returned from a stay at The Trans Resort Bali and wanted to share an honest take. First off, the hospitality here is truly top-notch—every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to help. You really feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. Breakfast is another standout—possibly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve experienced. They cater to all tastes, with a huge variety spanning Western, Asian, and local Balinese dishes. The fruit bar is fantastic, and if you’re into wellness, don’t miss the detox juice—it’s hands down the best juice I’ve ever had. That said, after 10 years in operation, the hotel is starting to show its age in certain areas. In particular, the gym, sauna, and relaxation zones could use some maintenance and upgrades to bring them up to par with the rest of the experience. Overall, it’s still a great hotel with amazing service and food—but a bit of investment in upkeep would really take it back to five-star standard.

I came to Bali to celebrate my birthday with friends & had a great time! The Trans Resort surprised me with a delicious chocolate birthday cake in my room From day one of being greeted by Sinnita and July, the staff has been nothing but kind, caring, and beyond helpful. Central location and nice facilities. Pool- clean & nice Gym- clean & beautiful facility Spa- Decent Restaurant- outstanding breakfast & lunch Rooftop bar - yummy drinks & sunsets An enjoyable stay indeed~ Thanks 😊

Excellent location but that’s about it. It’s essentially a 3star property, average amenities, service is but and a miss, checkin was disastrous from what was promised on trip.com to actual hotel policies, nothing matched and English language seemed a concern for every staff which led to multiple order issues. The rooms are nice though but the keys only work for 24 hours so you will have to change them each day given the issues we faced. Overall stay for location and if you get a cheap price , less then 100$ or else might not be worth it.

The Trans was absolutely one of my favorite resorts I’ve stayed! From the moment we entered the lobby the staff were so friendly and attentive.  Highlights - the gym (so clean and beautiful, and the waterfall crashing behind was stunning!) Breakfast - so damn good and with a huge range of options to choose from. I couldn’t get to everything I wanted because there was just too much haha. The rooms - beautifully appointed and so clean. The pool - loved it! I also loved that the pool was quite deep. I hate going to a resort and having the water be below my shoulders 😅  The highlight-iest (yes I made that word up) highlight - the bed and pillows!!! Over my weeks visit I had the best nights sleeps in years. I’ve never seen or used pillows like these - I only wish they could be purchased because I’d be buying a lifetime’s supply!!  Special mentions - ALL the staff were incredible, but I’d like to make a special mention to July and Sinitta. They were both so helpful and friendly. A real asset to The Trans. Thank you for a wonderful week. If I return to Bali in the future it will definitely be to The Trans.

Good for families. Rooms and facilities are clean. Room service comes daily and you can ask them to make up your room anytime you wish. Booked on trip.com but prices dropped about a week after my booking and I made a price match enquiry to customer service. Not sure if they have refunded me for the difference..
