"Not bad, clean, staff solves all the issues within 5 minutes, teapot, safe, restaurant excellent, live music, swimming pool in the yard, but we didn't use it. To the beach less than 10 minutes. I would like to add a lingerie dryer to the rooms, after the beach wet things nowhere to dry."

"Arrived at this hotel and wow it was awful needs a lot of tlc and no eye spending on it. Our room was awful ground floor. The bathroom was dated and dirty. The shower has an electric plug next to it so the shower cannot be put on full blast otherwise you will be ⚡. The rooms was very shabby with awful furniture. The bed was ok but the pillows were rock hard. I agree with the previous review with regards to the Steven chap and his behaviour was absolutely shocking his language was awful shouting and balling . There was a large group of them who thought that they owned the hotel. It really felt as though they were in charge and made me feel very uncomfortable. The language of the group was awful. The staff are great and are happy to help. The food around the pool at lunchtime was ok but priced well. The pool boy was absolutely fantastic if you need a sunbed or umbrella he was there straight away. The hotel is situated absolutely bang smack in The middle of the strip . There are so many bars and restaurants it's absolutely brilliant but also bonkers. You can eat cheap or expensive it's your choice. The beach was lovely but be warned so many buggers and dogs. I'm sorry I will not be coming back to the hotel because of the clientele. I hope that the horrible Stephen clan read this because of their behaviour the hotel will probably loose business."

"My husband and I stopped at the Santiago Beach Resort for three weeks in January 2026, this is our third visit!! Situated in a quiet location, but within a short walking distance of Baga Road. Rooms are large and airy with air-con and fan, cleaned every day. Plenty of bottled water with coffee/tea faciities. Staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Food is excellent. The stroll from the Santiago Hotel to the main road is a very pleasant experience, be warned it can take some time!! You have Max the tailor on the left, always happy to have a chat and an extremely proficient garment maker. On the right you have Jack the Jeweller, any type of jewellery you want Jack's your ***. Definitely goes above and beyond expectations and very knowledgeable. Already booked for next year."

"Property is 700 meter far from beach. Rooms were good and they provide food in room with reasonable price. They provided only bathing soap and towels, no shampoo, dental kit and creams."

The swimming pool was quite dirty, which was disappointing as I had hoped to relax and unwind there. Additionally, the food was merely average and did not meet my expectations. Although the room service stood out positively, other areas need improvement to provide a better guest experience."
