Tarangire Sopa Lodge

"Iam a safari guide from Tanzania came on 31st January 2026 with NIHAPA TOURS and lodged at sopa lodge (tarangire) our stay was excellent, everything was arranged professionally and in order thanks to the amazing staff I didn't feel any less from my guest. This is a good thing because as a guide with 5 year experience I've been to different lodges and this is one of the few lodges you feel safe and welcomed. Special appreciation to the chef and the whole crew especially the one who cooked the fish dish, I must say this was a big WOW, I really like fish and it was amazing from the presentation as well as the taste. Please keep this up you are doing a very good job."

Elephant Lodge

"The hotel is very close to Tarangire Park, where elephants come to drink water at midday. The rooms are indeed single-story tin-roofed houses (green tin houses in the distance in the picture below). The rooms are small, but the bedding and towels are very clean. WIFI is only available in the dining area; there is no signal in the rooms. No toothbrushes, slippers, electric kettle, or bottled water are provided. A cup is provided to drink from the tap (supposedly filtered). All hotel drinks are charged separately without prior notice; payment is only made after the drink is finished."

Roika Tarangire Tented Lodge

"My friend and I had such a great stay here. All of the staff were lovely and very helpful. We felt very safe, especially with the escort at night. We had the hippo room and loved the hippo shaped bath. It was very unique. The food options were all delicious."

Baobab Tented Camp

"Dzedah,the manager of Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge, warmly welcomed my wife and I and explained all the meal times and facilities as soon as we arrived. The setting on the lake was wonderful. We swam in a large swimming pool watching birds and one giraffe at the lakeside. All of our meals were first rate and the meal service was excellent. The lodge even provided us the opportunity to pick what food items we wanted for our lunch during an all day safari. All in all, we have stayed at several tented camps and my wife and I rate this camp as one we enjoyed the most."
