Baobab Tented Camp
"We stayed a night here. Staff were super friendly, food was plenty and quite good, accommodations were very clean, and overall a very environmentally friendly camp. It was incredible at night as you could hear the animals and we even saw an elephant walking in front of our tent! A very authentic experience and glad we stayed here."
Tarangire Sopa Lodge
"ALL of the staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful, especially our waiter, Good Luck! Tarangire National Park is such a special place, with so much to see, and there were dik-diks, rock hyraxes and monkeys all around the hotel, and a pretty view of the sunset. The pool was nice -- cold in June, but we had a quick dip. The rooms were big, clean and had everything we needed, especially warm showers with good pressure. Breakfast and dinner buffets had a very good selection. We appreciated that buffets and packed lunches all had vegetarian options without having to make any special requests."
Elephant Lodge
"The hotel is very close to Tarangire Park, where elephants come to drink water at midday. The rooms are indeed single-story tin-roofed houses (green tin houses in the distance in the picture below). The rooms are small, but the bedding and towels are very clean. WIFI is only available in the dining area; there is no signal in the rooms. No toothbrushes, slippers, electric kettle, or bottled water are provided. A cup is provided to drink from the tap (supposedly filtered). All hotel drinks are charged separately without prior notice; payment is only made after the drink is finished."
Tarangire Elephant Springs
"Wonderful place!! Service and views incredible"
Roika Tarangire Tented Lodge
"Coming to Africa for the first time, I thought the experience of living in a tent might be a little difficult. But Roika Tarangire Tented Lodge changed my mind. A few minutes walk from the gate, and then enter a dream world. Tired of the day-long safari, I returned, took a relaxing bath in the hot water, then sat on the balcony and watched the sunset. The herd of elephants was moving slowly. When the Masai guard brought me to the tent at night, there were millions of stars in the sky, and only the sound of the jungle in the air. It is not just a place to stay, it is an experience that touches the heart of Africa."
