Beautiful large room with all the amenities needed. Bed very comfortable and quiet night. Good choice of menu for breakfast, and presented well, thoroughly enjoyed. Lovely and friendly host and staff.

Sinclair gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. my room was clean, and had all I needed - including 2 delicious cookies, a choice of teas and coffee (French cafetiere), water...again, all I needed! I will recommend to anyone and surely will go back!

I stayed at Lochinver Guest House in Ayr before performing a concert the next day. What a superb place. After a warm welcome from Sinclair, the owner, I was shown to my room which was a real treat to go into. Comfort, style and luxury abound in this elegant established house set in a leafy part of Ayr. The tea/coffee room facilities are in a class of their own and breakfast was delicious . The owners are kindness itself and nothing is too much trouble. This guest house totally deserves its excellent reputation.

Fabulous Victorian Building in a stunning cherry tree lined street. Superb Scottish breakfast too. A really hospitable host and the direct booking and pre check in was excellent. I highly recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Ayr.

My husband and I had a wonderful overnight stay in Lochinver Guest House recently. From booking to leaving it was a pain-free, enjoyable experience. The house and rooms were so clean and comfortable, the owners have put a lot of thought into the decor, comfort and enjoyment of their guests . As well as your en suite bedroom, there is a lovely front room to relax in. ImThe location is within walking distance of the beach and Ayr town centre. Also a pleasant dining room that serves a first class breakfast with chat and a smile. Nothing was a bother and we would highly recommend a stay here. We will be back when next in Ayr for sure.

We received a warm welcome from Sinclair who then carried our cabin bags to our second floor bedroom. He allowed us to store our large suitcases in his parlour. The bedroom had a view over the hills and his neighbours’ back gardens. The home is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was served by a charming young man and was delicious. Location in Ayr was perfect for our visit to Dumfries House.

We had an amazing time here at Lochinver Guest House. I never stay anywhere else when I am visiting Ayr. Sinclair, Berthold and their amazing team of staff were all so friendly, accommodating and delivered a 5⭐️ service. Amazing variety of foods for Breakfast, Full Lochinver breakfast is very tasty and scrambled eggs are the best. Rooms are beautiful, beds are so very comfy too. Highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed. ⭐️
