Beautiful guest house. Comfortable room and bed with lovely tea and coffee facilities. Lovely breakfast and the best black pudding we’ve tasted. Parking easy as long as you get the permit from the host.

Ho l'opportunità di viaggiare veramente tanto quindi ho alloggiato in molte strutture ma una guest house come questa non è facile da trovare. La camera è ECCELLENTE sotto ogni punto di vista: molto pulita con ogni genere di conforto persino la scelta tra acqua naturale e frizzante entrambe presenti in bottiglie di vetro richiudibili con tappo ermetico. Non mancano the caffè e biscotti di benvenuto. Un materasso estemamente confortevole su cui dormire e bagno pulitissimo con molti asciugamani comprese salviette per le mani e accappatoio. Saponi specifici per mani e corpo e shampoo e balsamo per capelli compresa crema per le mani dopo il lavaggio. Colazione IMPERIALE! OTTIMA! E mentre stai facendo colazione riassettano tutta la camera e puliscono il bagno. Naturalmente l'accoglienza è all'altezza come la disponibilità. Purtroppo posso mettere solo 5 palline ma ne meriterebbe il doppio.

We had the most amazing stay at Lochinver. Sinclair, Oscar and Margaret spoiled us. The breakfasts were positively delicious and beyond my wildest expectations—and we are seasoned travelers. I dined off of the vegan menu and my husband is non-vegan. We were both thrilled with our options. We stayed in the Cunningham room. We found it comfortable, spacious and inviting. Lochinver’s gardens are spectacular. The neighborhood is both quiet and a short walk to anything we wanted to see or experience. We even walked up to church on Sunday. Sinclair was tremendously helpful and supportive during our stay. We will definitely be back!

A lovely guest house in a quiet location, walking distance into Ayr and the sea front. Nice welcome at reception , recommend restaurants in the area . Lochinver is Spotless clean, beautifully decorated with nice big rooms. The breakfast was great and good value Highly recommend for a short break.

What a wonderful oasis of charm and calm. Sinclair was an excellent host. The rooms very beautifully fitted out with elegant furniture in a charming house. Fantastic breakfast. Stayed at the beginning of our trip into the Highlands and had to finish our trip here also. Absolutely wonderful!!

Wonderful hospitality and a lovely building. My wife and I shared a room, our teenage son had one of his own. We all had a lovely time in Ayr and at the Guest House in particular. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful guest house and made extremely welcome by the host. The Cunningham suite is beautiful with a really comfortable 4 poster bed. The breakfast was to die for and cooked to perfection. Will certainly be returning and is central for all amenities 👌🏻
