Overall positive experience which improved from a shaky start as unable to initially check in on arrival and enjoyed a relaxing stay, excellent value for money and well cooked breakfast

Fair price for decent room and good breakfast

Neat, clean Guest house short walk from Ayr Beach Great little find. Had a very reasonably priced single room that suited me. Shared Bathroom was neat and clean but was up a flight of stairs.. Didn't find that an issue. Not far from the stunning Ayr beach.. see photos below taken the evening I arrived. Towels and bedding are definitely provided.. some-one had put that they weren't provided on the website I booked with (which did seem weird!). The cooked breakfast was also excellent.

AYR B/B Room very dated, papered ceiling ripped, furniture old i didnt mind but all peeling on top , inside wardrope on back wall looked as if it has water Mark's, had to hang clothes out side of wardrope.Beds were ok clean enough, carpet hadnt been hoovered, toilet was basic felt as if i was in a caravan as same style all plastic, only there one night and was out most of it, breakfast cant fault,friendly couple that own it and a woman helping with breakfast.but for a family room ours wasnt a good room.. Not worth the £98.00 we already paid in advance of coming, im sorry for this review dont know what rest of rooms are like did check reviews before booking and a lot of good ones.. but room 2 try and miss if booking.i did take photos but not putting up.

Lovely guest house in an excellent location in Ayr walkable to the beach and town...Julie is a lovely host and cooks a tasty breakfast...Very cosy and homely i enjoyed my stay here.

I had a really comfortable stay at the Eglinton Guest House! Single room was spotless, cosy and had a sink in the room. The shared bathroom was on the floor above but I didn’t meet anyone on multiple bathroom trips and had a good shower. It was the hottest day of the year so far and I had a very good sleep. Perfect location for shopping, restaurants and to access the seafront. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but the owner very kindly offered to store my luggage while I went into town in the morning. 10/10 would stay again.
