Sweeney Aviemore Two

⭐ 5/5 – A Perfect Highland Hideaway! We absolutely loved our stay at Sweeney Two Aviemore – The Garden Apartment. From the moment we stepped through the door, it felt like a modern, luxurious home-from-home. The space is beautifully designed — bright, welcoming, and finished to an incredibly high standard. The kitchen is huge and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, making it perfect for cooking and gathering together. There’s so much space throughout, including stunning bathrooms with a waterfall shower and wet room that feel like a spa experience. The beds are incredibly comfy, and we loved cosy evenings by the log fire with the huge TV in the family living room. The massive dining table was perfect for games nights and long chats over dinner — ideal for families or groups of friends. The location couldn’t be better: right on Aviemore’s main street, just a short walk to shops, cafés, restaurants and bars. Plus, it’s only a quick drive to some of the most breathtaking lochs, mountain ranges and outdoor activities in the Highlands. Booking and access were so easy, and the service was first class from start to finish. The apartment was spotlessly clean, which made everything feel even more special. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable and perfectly located base in Aviemore — this is it. We can’t wait to come back! 🏔️✨

Recently stayed at Sweeney Aviemore 2 as a group of 11 (6 adults, 5 kids) split between the Macdui garden apartment, family room and Cairngorm suite. We were impressed by the cleanliness and decor in each room and had no issues with our stay at all. Great base for exploring beautiful Aviemore with easy check in/out and ample parking. We used the garden apartment as a base for our group to have meals and drinks and it was spacious enough for us all with large dining and seating areas. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back soon!

Self check in apartment, ours unfortunately wasn’t ready when we arrived but after contacting the given phone number the situation was resolved very quickly so thank you for that. Lovely apartment, clean, basic provisions provided with clean towels. Beds were comfortable and both bathrooms finished to a high standard. Only tip with the Macdui Apartment is there is a ventilation shaft for the attached restaurant right above one of the bedrooms so if you like a “white noise” then it’s the room for you. It does go off when the kitchen is closed though. Just an observation rather than a complaint as such. We understand it’s part of it being a small hotel :) We would return to the location :)

Just spent 2 nights at Sweeney Two, best accommodation we’ve had in our Scottish Tour. Easy check in process, great room layout as kids had their own room/beds. Clean, comfortable & would definitely book again. Bottled water provided along with Tea, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits. Cleaner replenished the Tea/milk when I saw her. Great location in the high street, & plenty of parking, can’t fault anything.

Have stayed in better places for less money. Stay here if: you like to stand on a chair to open/close small window. If you like to walk lots of stairs and open lots of fire doors on-route to room. If you like not having any space in bathroom for toiletries. If you like not having any toiletries supplied. If you like not having any hooks for coats etc. if you like not having a bench to put bag on. If you like a damaged sink and unpainted ceiling above bed.

The room we had was lovely and clean. The staff were all really nice and we had a great time! They let us leave our bags behind the bar which was very helpful too.
