We had an unbelievable experience with this hotel. The staff made the stay that much more pleasurable. The hotel room itself was clean, new and comfortable. It is positioned well near the Parthenon and the Plaka. They let us leave our bags for the whole week at no cost while we went on our cruise and then welcomed us back on the day back from the cruise. Nothing was too hard and appreciated they went out of their way to accommodate us. Thanks again for an awesome stay!

I am a repeat visitor. This is the second time I have stayed at the Anthology of Athens and if I could stay there year around I would. I really can’t possibly put into words what a great experience I always have at this hotel. It has just the right amount of luxury and comfort without feeling pretentious. It makes you feel right at home. I think the best thing of all is the staff. I feel as if they truly care about my well-being. Every time I leave, it breaks my heart because I feel like I’m leaving very good friends behind. I will always stay at the Anthology. The location is superb. Everything about the hotel is magnificent. The beds are quite comfortable. The rooms are nicely appointed. The facility is very clean. I honestly can’t wait to get back there.

The staff were generally polite and friendly, but unfortunately our overall experience was disappointing. The room was not ready from a maintenance perspective! the blackout shutter was broken and no professional solution was offered. Moreover , the hotel manager’s attitude was disrespectful and far from professional. Additionally, the suite looked much bigger and better in the photos than in reality, which was quite shocking upon arrival.

Having recently returned from our trip to Athens I felt obliged to write a review of our hotel. The location was perfect for all the tourist attractions and restaurants. The receptionists and staff were all lovely and very helpful. The rooms are small but maybe to be expected in Athens? Unfortunately our breakfast experience was not positive. The staff tried but seemed totally disorganised or understaffed. The food was not replenished, menus forgotten, as was cutlery and the toaster was totally inadequate. It was an ordeal every morning to sit there although the setting was pleasant. The whole food area seemed too small for its purpose. We still enjoyed our stay but felt the hotel needs to go up a level to be a leading hotel of the world. Possibly less style and more substance!

A great high end find in Athens! We were right across the street from the Temple of Zeus. The Acropolis view was fantastic. The plunge pool was small but adequate. It looked right at the Acropolis. We really enjoyed the perfect location. Within walking distance to many great authentic restaurants, shops and sights. The service was fantastic. Management truly cared.
