"Good hotel not to far from the city center. Big rooms and good breakfast. Unfortunately the sounproofing of the rooms is not great, you can hear noises especially from the corridors. The elevators are quite slow, and not enough considering the dimension of this hotel."

"It is very classic and vintage inside the room! But hotel reception and doorman are very thoughtful and helpful on every guilde to everyone! Breakfast is amazing for traveller like me must wake up by good food’! So It is definitely a standard of 5 star and the location surround by great local cuisines with reasonable price! If you come for city walk for short! This hotel is the best of choice!"

"I heard that this area is relatively safe, so I chose this hotel. Environmental sanitation services are good and travel is convenient. It costs about 10 euros to take a taxi to the scenic spot. The soundproofing is not very good. I can hear the noise from the corridor outside the door in the middle of the night. Afternoon tea turned out to be only a cup of tea. I thought there would be snacks🤣"

"It was the first time I stayed in the hotel and it was a wonderful stay I was in the room 402 days the only thing I wanted you to be responsible for is how much the bottom of the door was a little damaged and it didn't close easily I pointed it out to the girls who were very kind when they were cleaning and I think that they will take care of it and fix it for their next bookings otherwise everything was great in this hotel including the spa which I had treatment and the girls were very kind and of course the restaurant which I also attended for a pie cutting it had very kind people and very good food"

"When booking, I thought it was a suite, but it was just one room. It was barely ok for 2 people. After 3 people folded the sofa bed, there was no place to put the luggage, which was very inconvenient. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but there is a microwave. There is a 24-hour supermarket nearby, and coffee and drinks are provided in the room for free, which is better. The hotel is next to the main road and has a lot of noise pollution. The location is OK, 15 minutes walk to Plaka, not far or close."

"Hotel is super nice, staff is very helpful and kind, beds are comfortable. You have a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars just 5 mins walk from the hotel, which makes this place even better. Also it is not noisy outside, even if it is so close to bars. But be aware that there is no public parking available for guests. There are 2 private parking spots, but we had to pay 25 euro/ day which is too much for Greece, but has nothing with hotel :)"

"Review for NYX Esperia Palace Athens – Luxurious Stay with a Few Caveats We stayed at NYX Esperia Palace Athens for four full days – two couples, each in an Executive Suite with access to the business lounge. The welcome was warm and efficient, and we received our rooms exactly at 3:00 PM, as per hotel policy. The suites were clean, stylish, and well-equipped with amenities such as disposable toothbrushes, shaving kits, loofahs, a hairdryer, and more. One of our suites, located on the 7th floor, even had a partial view of the Acropolis, which was a lovely bonus. The room’s climate, lighting, and curtains were all operated through digital controls, designed to pamper guests — although, in practice, they were not very intuitive and required a bit of trial and error. For instance, turning off the bedside light required getting up and walking to a control panel. The TV included Israeli channels (11, 12, and 13), which we appreciated. Breakfast on the 10th floor was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options, and the waiter service was above average. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional care provided by Ilia, the hotel's Public Relations Manager. She guided us almost from the moment we arrived until we left — recommending excellent tavernas, booking taxis, restaurants, and arranging a private guided tour. On our last day, we were also warmly greeted by Dionysia in the lounge — charming and attentive. That said, there were some drawbacks: Reception service was inconsistent – not all staff members were welcoming; some appeared cold or offered forced smiles. The business lounge was disappointing – small, crowded, with modest food and drink offerings and uninspiring seating. It felt more like a repurposed room than a proper lounge. The pools require advance reservation, with no room for spontaneity. Usage hours are segmented (e.g., 1–4 PM or 4–7 PM), and spots after 7 PM are very limited. The rooftop pool area is crowded, and the adjacent restaurant is also open to non-guests. Rooftop restaurant experience: One evening we returned from a night out and hoped to enjoy a drink with a view. Although two front-row tables overlooking the Acropolis were available, we were initially told they were reserved. Minutes later, we were informed we could sit there for a €25 minimum spend per person. The sudden shift from ”reserved” to ”available for a price” was off-putting — especially as hotel guests staying in suites. The guided tour recommended by the hotel involved nearly 4 hours of driving during a 5-hour trip, leaving us with very little time at each stop. We suggest skipping it. Bottom line: The hotel is modern, very clean, and the suites are luxurious. Service is mostly excellent, particularly thanks to Ilia and Dionysia. However, don't count on spontaneous access to the pool or rooftop restaurant — enjoying those requires planning ahead, much like booking a theater show. If you value well-designed suites and structured experiences, this hotel may be a great fit. If you’re looking for flexibility and full-day pampering from hotel facilities — you might find it a bit limiting."

"The hotel is located on the corner of the street. The room is relatively large and has two balconies with direct views of the Acropolis. It is quite good. The breakfast in the hotel is too monotonous, and there is basically nothing to eat. However, the freshly squeezed orange juice is good. The service staff is very enthusiastic. Some rooms have hair dryers, some do not. There was no hair dryer when I stayed there."

"Reception was very friendly during check-in and staff for breakfast was very nice. The facilities were alright for us. I'm not sure if it was just our room or the entire building but there was this constant ”smoke” smell during our stay that was very difficult to ignore in our room. They did offer us to change a room but after walking around the floor and lobby, might of been just a smell that was throughout the building. There was a used orange drink in our fridge which could of been easily missed by the maids but was a little concerning what else might of been missed. Again all minor issues that would not stop me from staying there again if needed."
