"We spent 2 nights at La Tavola. The rooms were excellent, food, home made wine and beer fantastic. The location is excellent in the hills above Assisi. The hosts Riccardo and Alessia went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, it is a shame they have now moved on lucky we enjoyed their hospitality for their last days, we wish them well in their new venture."

"We stayed in this B&B my wife and I almost by chance for three days, but today at the end of the stay I can confirm that the feeling is that of having been there for much longer, the first impact on our arrival was that of a welcoming and quiet environment with an almost visual attraction sensation, and when we saw the place it was so. Welcomed by Mrs. Marisa and her daughter Sara we immediately felt at home embraced by sympathy and professionalism, the room was the star a warm environment where everything is in its place with order and cleanliness, air conditioning and mini bar, spacious enough and I must say fresh. The bathroom small but very functional, hairdryer included and newly built. I would like to dwell on the panorama of this B&B which depending on the position offers in every corner a breathtaking panorama always keeping Assisi behind. It seems that it has finished but we discovered the wonder of this fantastic place the following morning on the advice of Mrs. Marisa who is a step away from the exit of the breakfast room and here we will return later, she showed us the steps that lead to the Sanctuary of S Damiano, we discover that the B&B is close to the Sanctuary and takes you to the Basilica in a few minutes and in a few minutes on a breathtaking path you arrive at the Mojano car park to reach Assisi and its Basilica with the escalators. On our return we go to try the super swimming pool that the B&B offers and people here raise the level even further because the swimming pool is a real touch of health with hydro and swimming current, deckchairs and sunbeds, the rating is for a 5-star hotel. Breakfasts beyond all expectations from savory to sweet, all homemade by mother and daughter with the seasoning of an amazing company. Private parking available at all hours, the conclusion is that before writing this review I had to think about it for a moment because perhaps I prefer it to remain unknown to always find it free. I recommend it for a total recharge both spiritually and physically, we will definitely be back! ❤️"

Agriturismo la Palazzetta di Assisi

"I had booked this Agriturismo ( Mandorlo appartement) for a 4 night stay, directly with Roberta, the very helpful and responsive host. All questions were patiently answered and we were provided with many helpful tips and recommendations 5* for service. The appartement was lovely, with a spacious lounge with a small kitchenette, table and chairs and a comfortable double sofabed, one good sized bedroom and a tiny single room and a bathroom. By the front door we had a lovely covered terrace with table and chairs with amazing sunset views, which we used for breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately the temperatures hit the high 30s whilst we were there and the lack of air-conditioning made it almost impossible to sleep, despite the 2 provided fans. We were aware when booking that there was no A/C, so no fault of Roberta, but we had hoped that with shutters closed and the the very thick walls, it would be reasonable pleasant inside. Our favourite part of the Agriturismo was the lovely large pool and lots of comfy loungers with plenty of shade, we certainly made good use of this and it was a treat to return to this oasis after a morning's sightseeing in Assisi, Perugia and Gubbio, all easily reached by car. We would definitely come back to this beautiful part of Italy and La Palazzetta, but either in the cooler months or in one of the air-conditioned units. Roberta and family you are great hosts and have done a great restoration there. Thanks for having us"
