Excellent Hotel
Loved the hotel. Lakeview from our balcony was just relaxing. Staff was great; helped with auto parking arrangements and was informative. Our room was outstanding. Room size, as expected, was a little small but the way furniture was laid out—maximized every inch making it easy with luggage! The entire hotel was clean and updated. Highly recommend.

Perfect location in Ascona. We had a good sized room with a lovely view of the lake and promenade. Each floor has a different colour theme we were on the top floor which was red. Breakfast was very good with amongst other things freshly squeezed orange juice and eggs made to order. The restaurant was busy and staff attentive. We really enjoyed our five night stay and will return to Albergo Carcani on our next visit to Ascona

I loved this hotel - it’s on the lake and near one of the main stages of the Ascona jazz festival, which I attended. The bedding was so soft and comfortable! Staff were very helpful and friendly. I recommend it and would return.

I took s last minute trip to Ascona and had wonderful luck booking a room overlooking the lake. The room was comfortable, had a petite balcony with a table and two chairs, and the bath was modern. The staff were AMAZING and Friendly. The food was delightful. Bteakfast was a typical European buffet, and eggs and bacon could be made to request. I will definitely return to this lovely hotel.

Great service, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent dinner, nice relaxed breakfast in lovely setting (view of the lake from the restaurant), comfortable room with amazing view of the lake, dogs very welcome - will continue to be our hotel of choice for our visits to Ascona

A great view, friendly staff, great food. We had rib eye and gluten free pizza. And the cath of the day salmon was also gluten free. And a Czech gluten free beer. Very nice. Prices are on the high side, but that’s everywhere along the lake. Worth a visit!

We are right now having dinner. Glass of white wine not cold. Asked for cold white one, they took glass away… their beato solution was to bring back the glass cold but the same warm wine. Finally asked for ice cubes… maybe they believe we soooo dumb… food good, nothing stunning
