Excellent village, excellent cleaning, excellent air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Strategic position between the airport and the capital, but a little on the hill, a car is also mandatory to get around the island.

Booked a last minute mini break in May and it was fab. A spacious comfortable and clean apartment with great views. Clean pool with comfy beds. Lovely bar with kind staff. Great location, a bit of a hill but easy to walk up. Third visit to Kefalonia and this was the best accommodation by far - will return for sure

Stayed in July 2025. The room was very basic—just about what you'd expect for a budget stay. The shower was tiny and cramped, but the air conditioning worked well, which was definitely a plus in the summer heat. On arrival, staff showed us to our room, which involved climbing quite a few steps. Unfortunately, there was no offer to help with luggage, which was disappointing—especially since my partner is 62 and found the climb tiring. The pool area is the highlight of the hotel. It’s clean, with excellent sunbeds and stunning views over the area. However, the pool bar was by far the most expensive we came across in all of Kefalonia—€7 for a single beer felt excessive. Be aware: the hotel sits atop a very steep hill, so the walk up from the main strip in Lassi is quite a workout—definitely not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, an okay stay if you're after a good pool and views, but with some definite trade-offs in comfort and service.

Room's are basic. pool/pool bar is great and food is lovely! View is amazing, sun loungers are also excellent.plenty of room by the pool and not overcrowded staff very friendly and very welcoming! Rooms cleaned every other day .the hill is great going down and there's a taxi rank which cost €7 for the return! Amazing restaurants across lassi never had a bad meal .butlers is my personal recommendation pre book near the back to watch the sunset 🌇 taxis into argostoli is recommended also €10 each way and stroll around the square you won't be disappointed if your there earlier b4 10 the harbour is busy with people catching a glimpse of the loggerheads turtle .A trip to assos and fiskardo and caves is also recommended at around €40 per person! 1st visitor will definitely be back .hope this helps any1

The price for accomodation and pool was the main attraction when searching out a place, however the place is lovely with a great pool, nice sunbeds and the staff are super friendly. It's on a hill so going down into town is fine but coming back is a slog. Takes about 15-20 mins to walk. There are taxis at the town to bring you back but they have got wise to the demand so prices seem to have risen from what other reviews have said. Bar is pricier than town and as a result is quieter than you might normally expect. Rooms are good.

Very peaceful relaxing stay . Apartment is a bit dated and basic but very clean. Towels and beds changed three times in a week . Beautiful gardens . Views spectacular due to the location being up a very steep hill but if you can’t walk always taxis at the bottom to take you up for around six euros . Large pool with lots of very luxurious sun beds. Not fighting over beds and a lovely bar a bit more pricey than the main bars . Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again !

This is the only place we have ever returned to, went twice in 2024 and booked again for June 2025. we love it. Lassi is just down the road and plenty of eating and drinking places. Argostoli is a short taxi ride away and pretty lively. I would advise anyone seeing negative views to ignore them.

They are a bunch of liars and thieves. After booking this place last minute and being charged over 2200Euros for a room that was hotter than a sauna, the size of a closet, TV was almost the size of a table and WIFI service is almost nonexistent. Went to receptionist and spoke to Panagioti Liberatos, the OWNER at 12am who promised us and send an email to Bookings, which we have a picture of because he turned his computer around for us to take of photo of, that he would refund our money if we would check out before 11am the next day. We left around 10am the next morning and he never offered another room, barely even acknowledged how horrible the accommodations were. We have been trying to get in touch with him regarding our money and he ignores our emails and phone calls and Never refunded our money. Shame on YOU LIBERATOS VILLAGE!!! LYING and Deceiving Tourists !!

Overall not bad for Greece, helpful tips you might find useful, shower is typically Greek, whole bathroom gets soaked. Kettle and mugs supplied with a small selection of teas and coffees but this is not replenished through the week. Fridge only in the room but no door on freezer section so everything freezes. Generally clean. Towels in room replaced once during the week. Location poor as up large hill. A killer doing it more than twice a day. We’re in our mid fifties pretty fit but did struggle. Resorted to taxis on some occasions. Plenty of tavernas down the hill on the main strip. Although some started to close as it was the last week of the season.

Booked 11 nights through booking. Upon arrival the room was small, the AC didn't work and the wifi didn't work either. We were really let down with the room, and it wasn't worth the $2500 we paid. We called booking to try and get a refund, and they sent an email to the property. We spoke with the manager, Panagioti, and came to an agreement that we would stay 1 night (since it was late) and would be refunded the rest. The next morning we checked out before 10am, thinking all is fine...It has now been over 2 months and we havent gotten our money back. The hotel has since changed their mind and decided they don't want to issue any refund. We only left because the manager, panagioti, SPECIFICALLY told us he would issue the refund. It's a real shame becuase my family is from kefallonia and to be treated like this is extremely disappointing.

Really disappointing accomodation. Booked this as a 3T rating as a Tui package holiday and self catering. Tui changed this to room only, which was OK as had a fridge (although would never have booked room only), thought 3T would be nice...but had a stained shower tray and dirty shower curtain, grimy floor with dirty grout, generally run down and shabby. Positives were it had a full size fridge and the bed was comfortable, pool area was nice too. Room was so disappointing and just looks dirty and not what I expected. Didn't experience any issues with staff as per other reviews. The hotel is up a very steep hill which was fine for us, but it is quite a walk back up, or 8 euro in a taxi. Bar prices are expensive, but you are stuck to.pay it unless you head into town. Wouldn't go back sadly.

Arrived late at night having booked a last minute deal for a 10 day room only basis, didn't expect it to be literallythat, room large and airy, great air conditioning and comfy new bed, however just that with a fridge and kettle and a rail with 5 coat hangers, no drawers to put our clothes away so had to leave them in the suitcase. Room only cleaned once in 10 days although toilet and kitchen bins emptied daily. Bathroom was quite grim, shower didn't drain very well and constantly found long black hair on the bathroom floor which had obviously backed up via the drain, as I have short blonde hair and my husband virtually none we knew it wasn't ours!Don't get me started on the toilet brush. We did have a balcony with a wonderful view of the bay so can't complain about that. The pool area was beautiful, very clean with amazing sunbeds with thick comfortable cushions, however on the couple of times it rained these soaked up the rain like a sponge so you ended up on a bed that just didn't dry out. Free clean towels to use though so that's a positive. Staff particularly the young girls in reception friendly and helpful but never once did the owner/manager seem to engage with guests. Bar and food prices expensive so only ate here a couple of times. Steep walk into lassi but the views made up for that. Had to check out at 11.30am for a pick up at 6pm. Only place you could shower and get ready was in the one shower by the pool, this and the two toilets available had no locks and accessible to anyone so my husband had to keep guard and then no area to get changed this really needs addressing. We had a fabulous holiday in lassi and would go back to liberatos if these issues were addressed but somehow don't think they will be based on previous reviews. Huge potential what could be the most perfect place to stay

We arrived late and were shown to our apartment in the dark there really needs to be more lighting especially with the apartments at the back. We had a few issues with the room and in the morning they gave us another room it was better, The rooms are very basic with a small electric oven and hot plates, fridge but very few utensils and crockery. No electric kettle you have to boil water in an old fashioned kettle. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were new so had a great sleep every night.lovely views from balcony. We had breakfast every morning by the pool no buffet style you choose from a menu. Breakfast was fantastic recommend the Greek omelette. Pool area is lovely with big comfortable beds. Staff were friendly especially the young girl who served breakfast every morning. We will return but feel the rooms at the back really need updating other holiday makers were saying the same thing

We arrived about lunchtime, room not ready, which was fine. We sat outside and had a drink, I went back in and enquired how long the room was likely to be and was met with a rude member of staff that just repeated “ when it’s ready, I will get you”. I said that I was simply trying to gage a time so we could plan what to do and as a diabetic my husband had insulin to get into the fridge. She rang the cleaners to find the room was actually ready, we tried to follow her to our room but she was so quick she left us behind and seemed frustrated to have to come back to find us! This seemed to instigate the staffs attitude towards us! Rooms are very basic, no kitchen facilities at all. Nice view and a comfy bed however. Shower is small with a curtain which sticks to you! Bar is very expensive and prices appeared to change through the week, which I challenged but was met with staff who didn’t really care that much! No glasses around the pool area which means you get less beer for the same price! Took three days to get fresh towels for the room, bins were emptied daily though. You get what you pay for here, but I have never known Greek people to be so rude, they are usually so welcoming and helpful. The hill is a killer but doable, unfortunately everything you need is down the hill, but with the hill comes a great view. It’s a shame because this hotel could be truly amazing, it’s not loved that’s for sure.

We had a lovely week at the Liberatos Village, it was brilliant to find a great deal at such a lovely apartment in the school summer holidays. Apartments were lovely and clean, all seemed to have a great view. We had a lovely sea view from ours. Rooms are spacious, we stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the lounge for my daughter. They also supplied a travel cot for my youngest daughter on request which was perfect. When we arrived there was no hairdryer in the room, I mentioned it to the lovely lady at reception and within a few minutes I had a great one in the room to use, not your usual low power travel ones. All the staff we spoke to were so polite, kind and happy to help at anytime. The pool area was kept lovely, always clean and the sunbeds were great with comfy cushions on. Pool towels available from reception was also a lovely touch. Pool was never overcrowded or noisy and there was always space for everyone during the day. There was also a lovely bar area with seats, we didn't really use the bar or have the breakfast so can't comment but food coming out looked lovely. A lot of people comment on the hill up to the apartments. This is a fairly steep hill and is probably a 10/15 min walk up and down. A lot of people took taxis however we walked up and down at least once a day with no trouble and a 6 year old. It is steep and hot in the heat but unless you have mobility issues it shouldn't be a concern. The views from the apartments and tranquil setting definitely make up for this. All restaurants and bars are along the road at the bottom of the hill with a large supermarket close by. All restaurants are great quality with amazing food so you can't go wrong wherever you go. Highly recommend the Aqua Marina for happy hour 6-9pm great cocktails and lovely atmosphere. All in all Kefalonia is beautiful, Lassi especially and we would definitely visit the Liberatos Village again :).
