Two nights there. Beautiful hotel set around the courtyard of a historic building, with guest rooms in a newer wing. The condition was good, everything clean and of adequate size. Air conditioning provided. We found the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was good as well, though not new. The highlight was definitely the breakfast — a huge selection served in the lovely courtyard, excellent coffee, fantastic service, and even live music on weekends (at least on Saturday) morning. We could have stayed there for hours! Very friendly staff and attentive service throughout. The location is great — just a 10-minute walk to the Plaza de Armas or some of the city’s best restaurants, such as Chicha or ZigZag. A clear recommendation.

The hotel combined colonial charm with modern conveniences. The location was a comfortable walking distance to most of the main attractions within the city and the staff was very helpful!

The hotel is lovely, in a fabulous location, but we were allocated a terrible room (103) which when I complained, staff agreed is completely unsuitable for guests. It's in the main hub of the hotel in cobbled corridor beside the hotel's breakfast courtyard, a corridor that leads to the rest of the more secluded guest rooms. This meant we were disturbed from the last guests coming in at night to the first guests leaving in the morning, dragging cases across the cobbles less than 10 feet from our bed. From 5am we could hear staff setting up breakfast with crockery and cutlery rattling, could hear clearly every time someone used the coffee machine and all of the breakfast chatter. This was our last night in Peru, ahead of a 28 hour journey back home to the UK and we simply couldn't get any undisturbed sleep in this room. If you are allocated this room, insist on a room switch immediately!

This hotel is let down by the attitude of the staff. If you have a problem they just ignore you. Breakfast selection is poor for a 5* hotel. Cups are dirty and there was a fly in the milk. See photos. Ricardo in the bar was very amenable and has a very pleasant nature

1 night stay with wife. Central location a few mins from main square. Historic setting. Comfortable well equipped room, slept soundly. Good breakfast. Restaurant has good choices and tasty food. Staff friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location close to the main square and cathedral. Set in 2 old courtyards it is all very attractive. The rooms are spacious and well appointed although our friends room only looked out at a brick wall so maybe request a room with a view into the courtyard. Food was good and service was excellent.

A wonderful modern hotel in an historic building only 5 minutes from the main square. Our room was very comfortable, quiet with views out over the city .the air-conditioning was very effective. Breakfast was very good in a lovely courtyard. All the staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. A really good place to stay when visiting Arequipa.

Marco, Richardo, and Claudia were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel welcome and well cared for. The food was absolutely delicious—every meal was a treat. Casa Andina is conveniently situated in the heart of Arequipa. It is a lovely hotel built around a beautiful traditional building. Breakfast is served in a picturesque courtyard in the middle of the hotel. The disappointment is upstairs. It is clear all the money has been spent downstairs and little in the bedrooms and bathrooms which are tired and dated as if from the 1970’s. We have stayed in a few Casa Andina hotels and I would say this is true of them all. I couldn’t recommend this hotel for this reason.
