A beautiful hotel in a perfect location with exceedingly friendly and helpful staff. A very short walk from the top of the rice terraces and the views as well as a great starting point for long walks. The staff were wonderful throughout the stay, even though it was a very busy time (Chinese new year), they went out of their way for anything that I needed. The breakfast was amazing every day and the food ordered at the hotel was perfect. Completely recommend staying here for anyone who is in the area.

After looking at B&Bs for a long time, I finally chose Qingshan No. 1 because it was halfway up the terraced fields, and I didn’t want to live at the top of the mountain overlooking the terraced fields. Living halfway up the mountain, you can see the magnificent terraced fields as soon as you step out of the balcony. The scenery is very good~ We went by chartered car, which could drive as close as possible to the B&B, so we got off the bus and walked to the B&B very quickly. Looking at the scenery in front of me, it’s great~ I made the right choice. It was already around 2 pm when we arrived at the B&B, so it was very convenient to eat directly at the B&B. There is a restaurant in the B&B, and the accommodation also provides coffee, which is really thoughtful. Talking about the food, I think the price, taste, and portion are very satisfactory. The boss will also give rice wine brewed by the owner as a gift with the meal. It is sweet. I heard that you will get drunk if you drink too much. And I happened to have a sore throat, so I could only taste it briefly, otherwise I could really drink it all. Haha 😄 After a full meal, we chatted with the boss for a while and took photos. Someone happened to be going to the No. 3 observation deck. The owner of the B&B would drive him there. He was so nice, so we went with him. We didn’t want to bother the boss with running around. . It’s quite easy to walk up to the observation deck No. 3 and it won’t be strenuous. I recommend everyone to walk around and take photos. I gave the grandma there 5 yuan, and my daughter and I walked into the rice fields to take pictures. It is recommended that tourists not be too stingy, and grandma is not easy either. Because I saw some uncles breaking into other people’s rice fields and refusing to give them money. Just a few dollars, speechless ~ Halfway down the mountain, I notified the boss to pick us up and take us back to the B&B, so everything was arranged properly. We returned to the B&B and took a rest. Since we ate lunch late and barked too much, I wasn’t hungry yet. Only my daughter who didn’t eat was the hungriest one, so I asked the boss to help her cook some noodles. The boss is so nice because it's not on the menu. It was getting dark very quickly when we came back, and we had to wait until the next day to take pictures. The boss also provided free Yao clothes for guests to wear for photos. I really wanted to wear them, but it was a pity that it was dark. It would be better to wear them during the day for photos. Talking about the room itself, the B&B provided free fruits, and I actually ate them all, haha, the little apples were very fresh and the oranges were delicious. The room configuration is very considerate, with a swing and a bathtub, everything I asked for. Bathtub covers are provided🤗 But unexpectedly, it rained that night and continued until the next day. But we were lucky because we had already been to the observation deck yesterday, otherwise we would have stayed at the B&B today. After eating a rich breakfast at the B&B, we waited for our driver to pick us up and take us back to Guilin to take the train home. The driver was also a little late because it was raining and the road was slippery, and it was a winding mountain road. I heard that there had been an accident on the road, and safety was the most important thing. I will come again if I have the chance. This time I happened to go to Longji before the harvest on October 27, and I could finally see the autumn scenery and the golden terraced fields.

The B&B is in the scenic area. You need to buy a ticket to the scenic area before entering. It takes 40 to 50 minutes to walk to the top of the terraced field. You can choose to take the cable car to see bigger and higher scenery. The B&B is in Dayao Village. A few hundred meters down is the cable car. The room is spacious and bright, cost-effective, and the boss is very enthusiastic. You can see the terraced fields from the room. There is a balcony. It is very comfortable to enjoy the breeze and the scenery on the balcony. In the golden autumn of October, the rice is golden, the weather is good, not too cold or too hot, everything is just right, looking forward to seeing you next time.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Dazhai. One of the newest hotel in the area. Book a corner room with a panoramic view of the rice terraces. Relax in their cozy chair and watch the clouds roll in and your cares and worries roll out. Experience warm hospitality from the service staff especially from a young female staff surnamed 黄. The hotel was packed with noisy children due to summer school holidays but she always have a smile on her face . Dinner is ala carte. Remember to book early as the kitchen staff struggles to cope if the hotel is full. Our room was big and comfortable with a bath tub out on the balcony with a retractable roof. Only negative point is there is no lift. People with walking issues may struggle up the spiral stairs . The staff help you with your luggage . Overall an excellent hotel with wonderful hospitable staff. Highly recommended.

There is a parking space downstairs. And you can see a terraced field from the balcony. 2. Facilities: The facilities are complete, but climbing 4 floors every day is also very tiring, haha, and toiletries are complete. 3. Service: Very enthusiastic, help with luggage, although the meal is for 3 people, but each meal is also provided for 4 people. Breakfast, rice wine, and fruit plates are provided every day. 4. Additional: If you purchase, you will be given ethnic costumes for taking photos. After all, it is free, so just take photos. The homestay has free coffee and rice wine.

Delicious and affordable B&B~ I had a half-day to spare, so this time I decided to come to the mountains with my family to see the mountains, water and terraced fields to experience the unique and comfortable life, and be a leisurely person for once... 😀 - The most charming thing is that when you open the window of the B&B, you can see the beautiful view on the top of the terraced fields. The super large terrace surrounds the beautiful scenery 180 degrees, which satisfies all my yearning for the mountains and fields. The terraced fields are filled with mist and rain, and the sunset🌅sunrise🌅 is just right for taking pictures casually. Very good B&B. If you drive by yourself, it is recommended to contact the B&B first, get the parking lot location, and then go. There are many B&Bs there, and each B&B has its own small area as a parking lot. The young man and the aunt were very enthusiastic to help with the luggage, and the experience was great. The scenery is very good, the whole house is smart home, and then I made an appointment for bamboo chicken and bamboo rice for dinner in advance, which is really delicious! I love rice wine too!

We took special bus from Yangshuo straight to Dazhai, then the owner had someone fetch us from DaZhai parking lot and drove a few minutes to the parking lot nearest their hotel. How did we book and organize this? We simply contacted the hotel via WeChat and they helped arrange everything for us. 15min hike, and we are in the hotel. No elevator, but there was a cable car that carried our stuff up to the mountain. The room was fantastic, the location was superb, the food was good. Even if you do not leave the hotel and just stayed inside the room, you'll have a fantastic time. Water is from spring so it's fresh and potable. You can wash your clothes for free but depending on the season, it may take a long time to dry. They don't have dryer and we could only hang our clothes. View from the room is good, and going up to the viewing platform only takes around 6 minutes.

As a family with a little kid we spent one night here! Pick up from the parking lot, including a carrier for our suitcase were easy to organise. The host speaks some English and communication via WeCaht was quick. The view from the hotel and the room were magnificent! The family served excellent dinner and we recommend trying their specialties! Had a great stay in a very relaxing and calm environment!

I am so happy to travel to Guilin! I happened to come to Midu and I was not disappointed! Facilities: The view in the room is super beautiful, the panoramic room is great for taking pictures, all the necessary facilities are available, and they are all automated! Hygiene: Every detail is clean and very comfortable! Environment: Not only the room is beautiful, but you can see the terraced fields when you open the window outside, which is also super beautiful! There is one pick-up and drop-off each at Dazhai parking lot and No. 2 Observation Deck. If you want to go to Longji Rice Terraces, the boss can pick you up and drop off for free, which is really great! You can also experience taking photos in Yao costumes in the terraced fields: the Amo people are also super nice! The food here is also freshly fried, very delicious, not overly surprising, and very cost-effective!
