Super nice staff and shuttle driver! Clean hotel, clean room with comfortable bed. Good selection for breakfast. I would stay again! Mountain View!!

On July 15 2024 my vehicle was broken into and my wallet and other personal items were stolen. The vehicle was parked right in front of the hotel. Also another guest had a firearm stolen from his vehicle. There are no security cameras outside this property. Staff members also confirmed that there are strangers coming through the property outside. I am a gold status Hilton honors member and they did nothing to resolve my problem. My wife and I felt very insecure at this property! Beware staying at this hotel!

We got in about 11 pm and were ready to leave at 6:30. We literally just slept and quick shower. We had breakfast because we waited so long on the shuttle. When we got off the train the night before we called and waited about 20 minutes after we called for the shuttle. All good there. The shuttle driver even stopped at a convenient store for a guy on the shuttle. I asked about the morning shuttle and he told me to allow 15 minutes in the morning, it would be no problem. So I asked at the front desk when we checked in, and she wanted to know what time my train was. I don’t allow others to determine my comfort level, time wise. I like to be early. She told me to ask at 6:30. So I asked promptly at 6:30 am. She said he had to take people to the airport and he’d be back for us. Once again she asked what time my train was. We waited so long, we grabbed a quick bite at the breakfast buffet. At 7:40 we were picked up. 70 minutes later. The train station was packed and the check in line long. I prefer not up have that stress. The drivers were all nice, but they service 3 hotels. They need another shuttle, but the driver told me the other driver “went back to jail again?!!!” Nuff said - UBER

I stayed here 5 nights. Everything was great. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was one of the best I've had. They even had fresh blueberries & strawberries. The staff was very attentive to the breakfast replenishing when necessary. The only thing that could be a bit better is that the hotel needs a little updating but what hotel doesn't. Overall a great comfortable place to stay.

It is always a roll of the dice when booking a place in a place we have never been to. This Hampton exceeded my expectations - super friendly and helpful staff, better than usual Hampton breakfast and close to airport. Tofi at the front desk was especially nice. The best surprise was the on call free shuttle into town. We had to wait a bit for the return, but nice touch. I recommend this place if you are visiting Anchorage.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is ok - same fake omelets. We stayed here 4 times over a three week trip. I booked it because of the advertised airport shuttle but it was the worst experience ever! The shuttle services three hotels and the drivers do not make good decisions. They take people downtown, to the train and all other places besides the airport! The airport is 7 minutes away but we would be told 30 minutes because the driver just can’t handle the traffic. We planned on using the shuttle but pretty much relied on Uber. Wouldn’t stay here again!

First off… booked a room as a Hilton Honors member weeks before our visit and the title was well over $400, which I guess is how it goes in Alaska. However, the day before we left I checked hotels again, just to be safe, and there was the Hampton Inn at about $200 less. So - not complaining about the change in rate (why reward a loyal customer who plans in advance), but instead recommending you check again if you make a reservation. Now the room… it had serious issues. The door was missing literal chunks out it where hardware had torn free (including the bar that’s supposed to close the door on its own in the event of a fire.

Stayed in Room 220, right above the front desk and the drive up, arriving at 11:30pm. At the time of check in, we didn't notice the music playing outside at the drive up. That music played ALL night and we could hear it while trying to sleep. It was miserable stay.
