The location and the beach it has is amazing. The rooms are fine. The terrace if it is with sea views is very cool. And the pool is amazing too

This has to be one of the worst Hotels that I have ever stayed in. It was that bad that it has put me off Portugal completely. This Hotel and Town is most definitely not the place to take a Family, both dirty and grotty. Unfortunately we had to stay for 10 Nights and not one of those were we able to sleep at all due to the noise of the *****, it was truly horrific, it would start around 7pm and end around 7am. We paid approximately 5K for our Holiday, but due to the food being so disgusting we had to dine out all of the time, costing us a Futher 3K. I am so very glad to be back home from the Holiday from Hell.

Tanto Boris como Nirma, del equipo de animación del hotel, son super atentos y nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos. ¡Las clases de aquagym súper divertidas! Sin duda 5 ⭐para ellos. En cuanto a los restaurantes temáticos del hotel, hay que reservar con mucha antelación...abren solo para las cenas, nosotros quisimos reservar al día siguiente de nuestra llegada y solo había sitio en 1...así que mejor reservarlos cuanto antes. La piscina abre a las 9 pero la gente empieza a hacer cola desde las 8 y no hay suficientes hamacas para la cantidad de gente que hay en el hotel y no están permitidas sacar las de las habitaciones. Conforme pasa el día si que van dejando algunas libres, así que paciencia o madrugar mucho. En general el hotel y los servicios están bien, la piscina está muy chula, la comida del buffet está rica y el personal es amable y resolutivo. Lo único esque creo que hay muchos servicios que ofrece el hotel que no nos explicaron cuando hicimos el check in y es una pena ya que nos habría gustado enterarnos antes ya que fue la primera vez que nos hospedamos en este hotel y en esta cadena. Tienen un servicio de recogida que te lleva gratuitamente a otros hoteles de la cadena y puedes ir a ver los shows (eso lo supimos gracias a Nirma), hay que reservarlo en recepción, hay un bar en la azotea en el Muthu Santa Mónica (justo en frente del Boat Bar) que está incluido si te alojas también en el Muthu Praia de Oura... ya no ofrecen el bus gratuita desde el hotel a Albufeira...os recomiendo preguntar mucho en recepción para aseguraros de tener toda la información (sino seguro que Boris y/o Nirma os pueden ayudar com eso 😃) Espero que mis comentarios/consejos puedan serle de utilidad a alguien.

Not a five star hotel, would give this hotel one star. Booked all inclusive food was awful we tried one meal on arrival, restaurant had flies on the salad, meat not cooked through to the middle, meat was Turkey kebab had blood in the middle, food was like warm. The drinks were watered done. On the website and reading a few reviews we thought it would suit our requirements. We were shicked to find out the area was full off kids drunk and screaming adolescent kids arriving home at 6.00am every morning. The hotel was like being in a prison with all the security gates,guess this is place because of the area. Cleaning at the hotel very poor, asked twice for our balcony to be cleaned and the sun loungers to have the bird excrement removed, this was not done so we moved rooms. Slightly better but not a five star room either. One good thing was the reception staff, i would like to thank Annabel and her staff. I'm sure they are exhausted with all the complaints they got.

2 star hotel. I stayed at the Grand Muthu Oura View Beach Club in July 2025, and I was really disappointed. The hotel calls itself a 5-star resort, but honestly, it felt more like a 2-star. The reception staff were unfriendly. no smiles, no warmth, just very cold and unhelpful. Our room was very old. The furniture was worn out. The restaurant was small and the food was very basic. Every day it was pretty much the same thing and lots of flies. We booked all-inclusive, but it didn’t feel like it. The bar had strange hours, and the staff didn’t seem happy to serve us. They were annoyed when we asked for a drink. There was no entertainment, no music, no shows, nothing going on at all. The whole place was lifeless. What was really annoying was: €20 per person to rent a beach towel (non-refundable) plus a €10 deposit €25 to replace a broken wristband (just a cheap paper one) Extra fees to use beach loungers We were constantly paying for things that should’ve been included. Please avoid this hotel. Save your money and book somewhere better.
