Aparthotel Paladim & Alagoamar

The girls on reception were very pleasent and did mind answering any questions. I travelled with my young daughter and the hotel was very safe and easy to access all amenities and also walk to old town also. The room.was cleaned daily and corridors and floors were kept very clean and tidy.

We have stayed in the Apartotel on at least 10 occasions and it never lets us down. The staff are efficient and friendly. The hotel is always very clean and it is located in a great area directly between the old and new towns.

Great hotel.centrally located 4 everything. Spotlessly clean,great staff and entertainment every night,even in January.

The wife and I with the two kids (6 & 9 years old) stayed here October 24 to 31, 2024. The only things I could really complain about were that Manchester United lost again and the pool was cold. But seeing as that's a regular occurrence by Manchester United and as it was an outdoor pool in late October I suppose there wasn't much the hotel could do about either. The hotel is a four star and one might perhaps comment that the rooms are slightly outdated but that would be a harsh criticism. You're more likely to be glad of the very large one bedroom apartment with two beds in the living room. A good kitchen area and really all you could ask for in a self catering apartment. Large enough that you're not on top of each other. We were very pleased with the room and facilities. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there because we were SC. There is a very large supermarket right on the doorstep with everything you would need. It is so handy. You're a 15 minute walk from the beautiful town. It's just a nice enough walk; just about not too far away. There is a taxi stop just outside the supermarket which again is rather handy. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to anyone going to Portugal on a Self Catering basis because the room is big, good facilities and the supermarket is right next door. Just so handy in that regard. It's also not too far away from the town. It's a four star but it wouldn't be the most modern or flashy of hotels but it's really good and it seems to be modestly priced; we got a holiday package with Easyjet at a good rate. I'm trying to think of any negatives but as I say the only thing would be perhaps you could say the room was a little tired/dated (but you'd be looking for something to complain about if you thought that) and a slight wiff of an odor coming from the outside shower plug beside the pool. So really nothing to complain about. It's a great apartment if you get a good deal on it I would wholeheartedly recommend it. Oh and just in regards to the area and town it really is very lovely place. The water park out at Splash & Slide is worth the trip but be aware the taxis are more expensive at certin times (but it says their taxi rates on their cards).
